Nice Attache
I bought this to replace a Samsonite briefcase I bought about 23 years ago that looked very similar. This one is a little deeper than the one I had before and I think I like the extra room. They sure don't make things the way they used to. This one is well made but they used to be REALLY well made. I'm sure I'm not going to get 23 years out of this one. One thing I don't care for is the extra little compartments inside are almost useless in this one. Plenty of room for paperwork and such, but if you want a place to keep a few pens, clips, keys and things, there really isn't a good place for them. I feel like I need to get a little pencil box like the kids had in school too keep the small things in. Plenty of room for folders in the top compartment so you can get to them quickly and I do like the panel that lays across the bottom part (between top and bottom when you have it open) so you have some privacy when it's open. That's a nice touch, but when you want to look or get at anything in the bottom part, there isn't a latch to keep it up and it's a little difficult to keep it up while your searching for something. Yep...a latch would be good. The combination lock on this one is a little stiff and I thought it would get better after using it a few times but so far it hasn't. For the money it's probably a good deal and it looks nice. I pretty much bought it over others based on the Samsonite name, but next time I will look around a little bit more and maybe try a different brant.

Sturdy hard plastic exterior. Very roomy. Combination lock. Reputable maker. 10 year warranty.
I recommend Samsonite Focus III 6" Hardside Attache because : (1) Shipped and sold by Amazon at a very competitive price (2) Maker Samsonite has a good reputation for durability. I am still using a Samsonite suitcase bought 20 years ago. (3) Exterior is made of hard black ABS (plastic) with grainy surface. (4) Locks are designed to prevent accidental opening. (5) 5 inches thick. Roomy for a 17 inch laptop, AC adapter, papers etc. Inside has pockets with straps and one hard full size separator. (6) The frame is made of light weight glass fiber reinforced polyamide. (7) 3-digit combination dial lock. No keys to lose. (8) 10 year warranty to first purchaser. Happy so far with my roomy case.🤞
Pros : Holds alot, locks feel sturdy, has to be right side up for it to open clever design, handle has quality feel. Cons : the walls of case are a little on the thin side, marks easy if left on its side, pen holder insert small took out insert and now plenty of room for pens pencils and markers.im a tradesmans and i needed a hard case with alot of room this was the biggest out there i must say i do like the case holds my code book, invoices, proposals, note pads, square reader and my springfield.45 with extra mags.ive had it a few months now and its holding up well so far.👍I’ll leave a further review if anything changes in the future.

Had to return because of faulty locking mechanism :(
This would have been perfect but the locking mechanism didn't work properly and sometimes this briefcase wouldn't even shut right. Such a huge disappointment because it was otherwise ruggedly built.

Well made briefcase
Well made durable briefcase. Handle is slightly rubberized and swivels. Latches are heavy duty and well made and won’t open unless briefcase is laying right side up. The interior is roomy and has a removable writing “table top” divider. The only cons are the pen holder tray (we removed it) as it does not hold all sizes of pens and we also removed the removable writing table top divider as we found it inconvenient however this causes the two interior support tabs on either side of the briefcase to get hooked up and catch onto the filing partition of the lid every time you open the briefcase.

A little large, but a great case!
I had been looking to switch to a briefcase and get rid of my old book sack laptop bag. I was a little skeptical of this case because of it's size. I didn't want to look like I was carrying around Nuclear Launch codes in my case, but this case is perfect. It is able to handle a leather notepad case and folders in the lid compartment, and my 17" Workstation Laptop (with extended battery) fits well in the bottom with the a full size thumb ball mouse and charger. Sadly the pen compartment doesn't really fit any pens that most people use. I think it might fit a BIC pin with no top. I was able to press in Pilot G-2 pens and snap it shut, but it is really hard to open/close the lid, because its such a tight fit. I like the little work space area in it. I can work on it, but I can also place books, notebooks, etc to store on trips. Overall a really good buy!

Great, Very Durable Case
I use this case all of the time to carry my laptop, several books and other items. It's extremely well built and solid. It's got a nice look to it as well... it kind of looks high-tech, at least as much as an attache can look. My father liked it so much he got one as well. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a durable case. It also has what I would call a table feature built in. There's a flap that lays flat at mid height when the case is open that you can use to put your laptop or documents on, to work off of. It's a really neat idea especially if you ever need to work right out of a chair without a table. It can also be removed if you don't like the small amount of space that it takes up. Definitely a nice case though!

Best case I've owned in 40 years in business.
I'm a contractor and need a durable and functional case. This is the first brief case that is built well enough to be treated a little roughly, and still maintain it's integrity. The only weakness are the accessory holders; they are rather useless. The pen holder can only holds small cheap thin pens, and the other holder area equally poor in design, But the desk area, the upper case folder and the case itself is outstanding.
