Didn't make it a year
Bought this in March. Used daily to grind one cup of coffee and it worked great until a little plastic piece inside broke last week and it is no longer useable. I was hoping that buying a manual grinder would make it last longer than an automatic grinder and allow me to have more options for how the coffee was ground. It was a great little grinder while it lasted, but I think products should be built to last longer than this one did. Sad that this one broke after 9 months, so now I am on the hunt for a better grinder that will actually last.

Love it!
I've been using this grinder for a few weeks. It is just great. I broke my right hand & as a result have limited function & not much gripping strength in it. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to manipulate the device to grind enough beans for 2 cups of coffee. However, I am happy to report that grinding 14 grams of beans is easy-peasy. It takes me about 1 minute 30 seconds & does not aggravate my hand at all. Thanks Grinderland for making a grinder that operates so effortlessly & quietly. Also, I really appreciated the scoop & brush that came with it ... very convenient.

Does what it says.
I bought it because my Capresso Burr Grinder wasn't making a fine espresso grind. This little grinder made a very good fine grind that produced a crema out of my Kamira Espresso maker. Prior to that, I wasn't having any luck with my ground coffee. It takes a little bit of work but you would have to be really out of shape not to be able to get enough grind for 3 cups of espresso. I grind enough for 4 cups, put it in a glass jar for later and enjoy it. The only thing I wished was for the inside cup to be made of glass instead of plastic, but since I'm not heating anything in it it's not a game changer.

Grinder Review
Received this grinder today. Looking to get a medium coarse grind with little dust. Manufacturing on this grinder is AAA. Out of the box it was such a tight fit it took a couple minutes to get apart. But after that was smooth. Set the grind setting a 1/4 turn counter clockwise from factory setting. Thought I would have to play with this a few times to get it right. Put 2 TBS beans in it and ground. Easy job. WaLa perfect grind concistancy and no dust. I mean no dust. I have a cuisinart electric grinder which also gives a good grind but with a little dust. I believe all electrics give a little dust because of the rpms of the machine. Owned several. Other reviews on other hand grinders complain about the handle coming off during grinding. No problem here handle sets down far enough that this doesn't happen. Only had it one day but if this grinder holds up it will be great. Will buy another one for the cabin.GREAT BUY.Also picked up a Malta pour over coffee kit at our Kroner store on closeout for 2.75 yep 2.75. Can be bought on Amazon for 12.00. Another great buy if you want a good pour over kit. Also can't believe how smoothly Amazon works. Who ever runs this it is a excellent business man or woman. Been with them little over a year no problems. Puts Walmart to shame. Old Sam should be rolling over in his grave if he could see how his once great store has sunk so low.

Sturdy and Easy to use Coffee Grinder
This grinder was delivered in good time and in perfect condition. Sturdy, well made, and allows for jumps and bumps while grinding. After cleaning and assembling the product, it was easy to grind the whole beans I'd purchased. I ground a cup of beans in quarter cup increments, placed the fresh grounds in a glass jar with a tight lid, and refrigerated. I've enjoyed my nicely ground organic coffee ever since. It is easy to crank when assembled and the window in the container helps you keep track. I'd buy it again and recommend it friends and family.. It would be easy to lose the small spring and tiny disk that are part of the internal workings. So, keep track of the small pieces when you clean your Grinderland Manual Coffee Grinder, and return them in the exact same order.

Good Buy, Gets the Job Done
I bought this particular brand of manual coffee grinder after using a co-worker's. He's been using his just about daily for the past 3 months and hasn't had any issues that I've heard of. I use mine less frequently, but so far I haven't had any issues. I haven't fiddled with the coarseness setting too much, but it concerns me a little that it incorporates a plastic component. Overall, I'd say it's a good buy for the price and it gets the job done.

Does the job well
Didn't want to pay $100 for an electric grinder for my French Press, so I bought this grinder based on the reviews. Does the job well and I am glad I bought it. Yes it takes awhile to grind the coffee, but so what.

Great company support
Just learning to use it. Quality very nice, simple to adjust and use. Great for a couple of cups of coffee, but if we decide to do bigger quantities, we'll look for an electric one. The company has great email support. Would give it 5 stars, but haven't used it very long.
