Very informative book! Easy read! Learned a lot to ask and look for! Highly recommended this book for anyone looking to buy in a 55 Florida community.

Some good information, A lot of it was common sense, but there was more than enough in there for me to realize I had to ask some serious questions before I plunked down any money. Very glad I read it.

A thorough, concise and well organized guide to the considerations needed to ensure you make good decisions obtaining manufactured housing in Florida and the multiple options open to you. Many of the principles in this book would be applicable to other areas as well. However, there is a plethora of extra information if the area you are looking in is Florida.The author has been involved in the manufactured home industry and communities of Florida for years and offers a great deal of first hand knowledge. He is a wise, kind and tolerant gentleman that really wants the reader to be happy in the decisions that they make.Since I am embroiled in making those same decisions as I write this, the book has been an indispensable aide in the decision making. If you are also, you should check out his YouTube channel and website as well.A very valuable resource.

Russ does a very good job with ensuring you have your Eyes Wide Open in purchasing a manufactured home in Florida. His Inner Circle (free), information is great too. You’ll need to decide on a budget, location, size of park, type of ownership/land lease before applying the Next Steps, Russ provides in his book.

General knowledge

Regardless of your retirement goal in the sunshine state this book will save you a lot of money and angst before making the plunge. A well written and superbly organized book covering all aspects of the varying lifestyle options available. Most of us from out of state are not aware of all the advantages and pitfalls of the various methods of living in Florida. A read of this book will answer pretty much every question you may have and even questions you wouldn't even think to ask. I wish I had this book to read before I retired, follow the advice and your transition will be so much less stressful.

Russ has a very informative YouTube channel, which is how I found out about this book. I enjoy his video content very much and wanted to learn more, so I got his book. I'm not disappointed. You'd be doing yourself a big disservice if you pull the trigger on a home or a park without reading Russ's book first. Highly recommended!

There are many manufactured home communities in Florida and other states. They offer different amenities and types of housing. They also offer different ways to pay your rent or possibly have the option to own. Russ has been able to give you the FACTS. Then you can decide which community fits your lifestyle and budget. It is filled with LOTS of good information to assist you with your decision. Read it carefully and research what are the best options for you and I am sure you will agree that his knowledge of the subject and his straight forward approach makes it much easier for you to make a decision.
