45 Watt Low Voltage Transformer

I bought a Patriot LED lighting system that included a small transformer and photocell. That transformer lasted about 2 months. This is the replacement and I couldn't be happier! It is a big, beefy unit with a built-in photocell. It has 3 timer settings plus a dusk/dawn setting. I did a lot of comparison shopping and this one provided the best value. I haven't had it long ... so I can't comment on its durability. But so far I'm very happy!It's now a year later (7/16/16) and the transformer has been running continuously for about a year. No problems whatsoever! I've even added a few more LED lights to the string. I left it on all winter --- I thought the cold and snow might ruin it -- but it didn't. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Set it up about a week ago and so far so good. I use it to run a mix of LED and Halogen landscaping lights totaling 32 watts. It looks pretty durable and seems to be very well sealed against the weather. With the low power consumption of LED's, you can power a pretty large amount of landscaping lights with this unit. The unit is very simple to set up and very simple to use, pretty much foolproof. I use it in auto mode for dusk to dawn operation. Instead of using one large transformer to power a bunch of lights I'm planning to buy 2-3 of these each one running a smaller string of lights around my house. For the same output power buying several of these is cheaper than buying one big transformer and I wont have to run low voltage wire everywhere. If one fails it won't break the bank to replace it. Will post an update here if any issues come up or if the unit breaks, but so far it's been flawless.

This worked great to replace our transformer that died. Great price and seems to be holding up well ... so far so good. Much cheaper than our local store prices.

Works perfectly so far. been un use for a couple months with no problems.

Ran hot almost from the time it was plugged in. Died completely about 24 hours later. It had 18 watts of lights on it. Had it for about six months before I installed it. No known warranty on this device.

Worked fine for a while but died within a year

Exactly what it says it is. Reliable. We would like a master ON-OFF switch, but that's not very important, just unplug it. We us this with a bunch of 1W LED landscape lights that are amazingly bright with almost no energy use. For your garden where the total usage is 45W or less, it's a gem
