The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately I’ve received a faulty lava lamp. After over 5 hours the wax remained at the bottom of the bottle. The unit got very hot so it wasn’t due to lack of heat. I’ve re ordered based on reviews that say this lamp is very good , I’ve also seen that the problem I’ve got is not unique. I will update once I’ve received and tried the replacement.UPDATE...I decided to change the bulb and left it on for around 3 hours and suddenly it burst into life! See added photos. I cancelled replacement and I'm enjoying my beautiful lava lamp. I don't know if the bulb was the issue but it's working and that's the main thing. This lamp is very pretty, I'm pleased I persevered with it. So, I would recommend this. It's possible that initial operation takes longer than it should due to the density of the wax??

Fab lava lamp just plug in and wait for the wax to melt and a lovely soft glow to the room. Was a birthday gift for my 10yr old daughter. Just warned her not to touch it when it's on as can get very hot. Lovely and colourful! She loves it!

I love my laver lamp. It’s beautiful when it’s lit up.

Bought for a present and find that after having switched on for nearly 2 hrs the yellow stuff still sits at the bottom and not doing anything at all.UPDATE: takes 2.5 hrs before starting to work and 3.5hrs to get full display. Auwful product, avoid.

After ordering one from another company that was not as described and didn't work properly I am so pleased with this one. Exactly as described works perfectly. Very soothing to watch. Colours are lovely. Arrived a day earlier than expected.

Bel effet, mais la lampe chauffe énormément, il lui faut au moins 3h pour que la cire fonde, consommation d'électricité excessive, et frustrant de ne pas pouvoir en profiter dès l'allumage.De plus il y a des traces sur le verre, et des chocs sur la partie métallique rouge en haut, ce qui laisse supposer que ça a déjà été utilisé.Enfin, si vous la laisser allumer 2 à 3 heures, les boules de cire restent bloquées en haut...La première ampoule n'est pas fournie.
