Great little mini.. perfect for a variety of uses
Nice computer. Very sturdy.. and well built. Purchased for pfSense router. It's more than needed by far for pfSense but I wanted to build in ability to repurpose should i choose. By default the computer comes preloaded with Windows (you must provide license). When purchasing I made note that I preferred pfSense. Seller preinstalled latest build of pfSense for me. Received very quickly.. less than a week. I have not had long but so far zero problems. I love this little computer. If feels quite a bit more durable than routers I have purchased directly from Netgate. (note.. i am not knocking Netgate's hardware at all. i have purchased a handful of them. This computer has much sturdier physical hardware than the Netgate's. That is my point. But Netgate's hardware is fine tho.)The 4 ports are labeled WAN, LAN, OPT1 and OPT2. For anyone using this for pfSense, please note that these labels are misleading. Instead of the ports as 1, 2, 3 ,4, they are 1, 3 4, 2. So if you are using only WAN and LAN for pfSense, use the first port for WAN and last for LAN. This is if you leave the ports defined as is. Hope that makes sense. This is the only issue I ran into and it really is not an issue at all other than be a tad confusing at first. I found where someone had posted this when I was attempting to make heads or tails of what was going on.As previous reviewer stated, this unit is AES-NI capable. . which you will want if using with pfSense.I have plans to purchase 2 more of these units... that is how much i love them. You get a big bang for the bucks. Easily can see myself purchasing quite a few more from Qotom in future. Seller was fantastic with this order.

5 Star product 2 Star Support
It’s a great fanless pc. Came preloaded with an unlicensed copy of pfsense. No documentation other than a business card was in boxNo labeling, no serial number, no brandingNo documentation or motherboard or bios, information was providedContacting QOTOM I got their website urlEven their website had no information on this model in English or ChineseRequests for motherboard information was ignored by the business card holderLoaded NGFW Untangled And it runs well and even temp without a fanUnlike other similar machines this is a 1.6 GHz i5 processor, more than enough powerThe listing had said 2.7 GHz, that’s Wrong. When I pointed that out listing was changedEthernet ports are are not correctly labeled but built in actively lights can sort that outUnit is powered by an external brick sized power supply and runs cool to touch

Came preloaded with PFSense.
Bought this to replace running PFSense on an aging ESXi server. Backed up old PFSense box and restored onto the new box. Detected that there were differences in the interface names automatically and let me specify the new ones. Had it working in 5 minutes. Haven't had to reboot or take it down in the weeks since then. (I was having to reboot once every couple of days on the old setup) Pretty happy right now.Edited: Broke with in 1 month. Unable to get support.

Best and most cost efficient pfsense for home/office with AES-NI capable processor.
This is probably the best pfsense build option in terms of what you get for your $$$. I replaced my quad-core AMD pfsense boxes with this and got the same performance with a lot less power and trouble. There is no build required. Pfsense pre-installed. The two core i5 keeps up with gigabit WAN<-> LAN, snort, OpenVPN. Two extra Intel Ports for whatever (CARP with a second one of these and dual WAN). Is warm when running but quiet. Low power use. No Fans. This i5 is AES-NI capable which will be required for Pfsense community build v2.5 and onwards - so time to think of replacing your hardware with this - its coming in spite of all the complaining.

Arrived DOA
No HDMI output at all. Confirmed monitor and hdmi cable work fine. Trying company. Will adjust review if this is solved quickly. If not, goes back...7/24 - OMG. Found at least 1 of the issues... The RAM stick wasn't even inserted properly. So much for QA. It was 1/2 in on one side. The other thing I am finding odd. Why is Windows on the mSATA? What the heck?I have managed to install pfsense and appear to be in good shape. I have not attempted to access the bios as of yet to see any configs. Other issue I noted is the case is like swiss cheese. I didn't order with wifi as an example and the 2 antennae holes are completely expose. Temp seems to be quite good. The case does not feel warm at all. I will upgrade review after connected to all ports and added to network.7/29/20Unit has been up and running on pfsense since the 24th. I have had no issues. pfsense is reporting 27.9C. Hand on the unit is warm but not hot. Upgraded 1 star.
