Best on all aspects
Update July 15rd, 2022:The original pair I ordered from Amazon was defective. One side would constantly lose volume in under an hour of use until it was left to recharge for at least 5 hours (even though battery was 90%). And the mic on that pair did not work at all. I sent an email to FIIL and they sent me an extra pair free of charge which I appreciate but the volume issue still happened. Moreover, it's sometimes a hassle to sync the 2 buds with each other. In many instances I had to the unsynced bud back in the case, close it, wait 2 seconds, and then pop it out again, and if that didn't work I had to unpair and and re-pair it with the device, and sometimes it took multiple rounds of attempts for syncing to work (this happened with different devices). Ultimately, these were still worth the $44 I spent on them, because I just got the Sony WF-1000XM4 (suggested on nearly every review website as the best sounding TWS available today) and the FIIL T1XS SIGNIFICANTLY exceeds the Sonys' clarity of audio and bass quality.Given this perspective, and for the price I got them, the FILL T1XS are a mighty 4.7/5, and I'll be returning the Sonys.------------------------------------------------OLD REVIEW BELOW:I'll start by saying that I'm not an audiophile but neither do I not care about my music sounding well. I like a good seal, noise-isolation, and in-ear stability during activities. Because of that I usually limited myself to a $10-$20 range.I've had about 4-5 pairs of earphones over the last ten years some of which I re-ordered several times because I liked them even though they broke several times. They all had over-the-ear hooks because I used them for treadmill running. They were all marketed as "noise-isolating" earphones, and some as "bass-boosted".Now, my latest were KZ-ZST and after a loyal 1.5 years the cable connection broke on one side. So I decided to try out a TWS pair because for one I was getting tired of messing with cables and secondly I wanted to transcend the $10-$20 range on earphones. There is one exception in my earphones history and that was a $90 pair which I will talk about in a bit below.I read multiple reviews on the T1X from various websites, including reddit, and a site I discovered along my research: Scarbir.com.All were praising the T1X, but then I noticed the T1XS which was newer, only $5 more (on sale) than the T1X and has even better reviews. I was skeptical as I always am about anything but decided to give these a try. They arrived, I put them on and played some of my favorite tunes.Man, let me tell you, I felt like I wasted a decade of quality enjoyment from music. With the T1XS I am literally rediscovering each tune in my music library with clarity I never heard before. When connected to the phone, with the FIIL+ app you can set equalizer presets that make a big difference in the way things sound. My all-around favorite is the Home Theater preset because that's exactly how it makes the bass sound. Similarly when I'm on a computer, I make sure to have "Bass boost" enabled on Windows' sound settings and that makes everything sound better.I thought I knew what good bass sounds like but the these proved me wrong. I thought I could hear details in my music but again... I was wrong. I thought I knew what good in-ear stability was and I was wrong. I bought a pair of $90 Klipsch IMAGE S4 as an experiment in 2011 and still remember how they sounded to this day. The bass was thumpy, dull, and the highs were overbearing. I could never get a good seal and they just wouldn't stay in my ears comfortably. This is not to say Klipsch are bad, but to show that price is not necessarily an indicator of quality. The T1XS are half the price but score more than double in sound quality and comfort.Pros:- Amazing sound, pronounced details, bass sounds like you're sitting in a car with top of the line subwoofers or in a movie theater.- Good fit, stay snug in ear during exercise.- Variety of earbud sizes.- Optional wingtips in 2 sizes offer more stability.- Good battery life fast charging speed.- Small elegant case.Cons:- Sometimes one side won't work upon Bluetooth connection or when switching connection between devices (i.e. phone to computer), but that is easily resolved by restarting the earphones or by a long-press on the earphone that doesn't work.- FIIL+ app doesn't close unless force-stopped on Android. It occasionally crashes too.- No way to turn off touch controls. This becomes a problem when you have a beanie on that makes contact with the touch-surface and makes unintended pauses, switches to the next song, or even shuts down the earphones. This is my main gripe for outdoors winter running.- Taking the earphones out of the case is inconvenient. They're prone to slipping. In conclusion, these are a popular option, and one of the most positively reviewed earphones. If sound and fit is what matters most and you don't care for eye-catching style designs then for the price (I bought them for under $45 on sale) it's a no-brainer.

Great technology at an affordable price!
I got my delivery of the FIII T1 XS about 2 weeks ago and it’s exactly what I wanted in a number of ways. The sound quality is fine! I’m not an audiophile so I haven’t tested the equalizer. My ears are 80 so I’m not expecting miracles from that. I very much like the case, interior and exterior design. My first wireless earbuds were giants compared to the T1 and the case was twice as large. So I was delighted to have great quality in a small package. The T1 accessories work fine with my ear shape. I’ve had no problem whatever in keeping them in place. I use them more for phone calls than anything else and no one has complained about the sound at their end.The delivery time and packaging were great! I liked the case as well as the accessories “wearing” pieces. They are comfortable and hold their grip. I’ve used the type of tips that resist when being pulled out of the ear and create kind of a pressure and sound seal. If I can retrofit the T1 Eartips with these I’ll be even happier.I’m still adjusting myself to the touch controls. I’m fine until I get the T1 units in my ears. Simple things like taking a call or “hanging up” have been eluding me and I need to say that the instructions that came with the unit didn’t help me. I found a diagram on the Amazon site that explained it. I would have preferred that information come with the unit. The size of the earbuds and getting them out of the holder is a mild problem. I wouldn’t recommend them to someone with stiff fingers. Here’s a hint for retrieving the buds from the case. With my left index finger I roll the left bud from the left edge toward the middle. Trying to grab it with two fingers immediately doesn’t work. The magnet, shape, and finish of the buds don’t give me an immediate grip. Here's another hint I would have found useful if I'd read it somewhere: There's an audio signal when you use some of the touch controls. When I tried to lower the ear piece volume ( tap 3 times on the left earbud) I would get this CHIRP and wondered what the heck that was?? It finally dawned on me that when I tapped it 3 times the sound level dropped and it chirped to let me know it “felt me”. Then I'd give it another triple tap (sort of like the professional assassin in the spy videos)and it would chirp again as the volume dropped again. And so it went! This was an undocumented secret that made it fun to work the “curve” - if it doesn't drive you nuts first %0) !!I’m thinking an engineer wrote the manual. I wouldn’t call its operation intuitive. I’d probably write a book to tease all the options available into a treatise for the user. And that wouldn’t work either. Oh, which reminds me, when I used the various options offered to get tech support, how shall I say this, oh . . . “No one was home!?” This despite the written assurance of 24/7 tech support. So I plan, for now, to seek answers to my problems with this unit from Amazon Q & A. Not confidence building but if it works, use it!In the final analysis: Great little product with very nice price and quite sophisticated technology that I’m sure works swell, once you get past the learning curve. I’d give it a 4 star review because of the support/instruction issues I experienced.
