Flow Med Dry-Cap UV2 Electronic Hearing Aid Dryer for Rechargeable Aids

When exercising I often will perspire so much my hearing aids quit working. I also have a pool and twice have jumped into the water with my hearing aids. I put my hearing aids in in the dryer and when I take them out they work. I don’t recommend putting the in the pool but so far it works for me.I’ve had the dryer for 6 months and use it every night. I’m pleased with it.

My husbands Phonaks couldn’t fit under my smaller one in its case. Which is the whole point of drying, cleaning while the hearing aid charges. Oticon charging isn’t a case so no issue with the smaller one with it. The charger with the bigger one has a usb port to plug your hearing aid charger. One usb port for the dryer of course. I loved that I could use a portable charger to use with this dryer to dry and disinfect my husband’s hearing aids. Not having to struggle to plug mine in behind the bed. Plus didn’t want him claiming it as his. As now I use the smaller one to nightly dry and clean my Apple Watch. And the bigger one for my hearing aid. Plus if I ever have to get another pair at least I could be covered having enough room inside to put it all under the dome. Oh, nice surprise inside the box, m looks like the seller had wrapped the charging stuff box with a big cloth that can be used to clean many things like glasses, hearing aid, tablet screens. Oh, and no heat using this dryer, a huge deal for me after doing research on those that use heat and others reviews.

My husband has 2 very expensive hearing aids. He uses this every night to dry them out and it works great.

This was recommended by my audiologist as a way to reduce moisture and prolong the life of my expensive hearing aids and reduce number of repairs. It is easy to set up and use. The advantage is that it works overnight while the aids are in the charger.However, I remain skeptical about its effectiveness. It flashes a blue light for a couple minutes and has a fan that runs a couple hours. They claim the the blue light “sanitizes” the aids to kill bacteria. But who ever got sick from surface bacteria on hearing aids? And will the fan really remove moisture from the insides of the sealed hearing aids to extend their life? Who knows? I guess I will find out if I don’t have to replace the receivers as often. Can’t hurt anything but my pocketbook.

Received this in August 2023. I use it 98% of the time. I just had my audiology visit after 5 months and my aids were completely dry!! Before I bought this, I had a visit after wearing my hearing aids for a month and had water in them! It wasn't even hot and humid here yet, I did not wear them in any form of water, wasn't exercising outside and yet had water in them. Thank God for this device! Bravo!

Bought UV hearing aid dryer 4 or 5 years works ago it works perfect. I had some tech questions about travel international with voltage and was on spot with the answers. Took the time thank you very much

Great way to keep your hearing aids dampness free while charging them. My son uses them everyday. He’s 7 and it’s part of his nightly routine. He operates it all by himself!
