EltaMD UV Aero Full-Body Sunscreen Spray Broad-Spectrum SPF 45, Water-Resistant, Mineral-Based, Non-Greasy, Sheer, Transparent Zinc Oxide Mineral Based Spray Sunscreen 6.0 oz

I've used other spray sunscreens from Banana Boat and similar brands and I can't use them inside unless I want to inhale a bunch of it. Not sure if the lack of fragrances is what makes this EltaMD sunscreen NOT do that, or if they've designed a better spray system that's more targeted and doesn't send up a plume of sunscreen particles.It doesn't smell like anything/the scent is very mild, and since it's a physical sunscreen it leaves more of a dry feeling than a greasy coating sensation.It rubs in pretty well. I'm white. Going by foundation colors I'm in the fair to light range. I have seborrheic dermatitis/eczema on my face and I can't use most sunscreens as a result. I'm not sure this sunscreen works for that but it does work for the rest of my body. Ideally I should be using higher SPF anyway since I've noticed I still tan when I use this sunscreen even when used as directed (reapplying every 2 hours, etc).

So I had this problem with the sprayer not working very good. so difficult to hold down and spray my body parts. I read the review and saw that there has to be a relative loud click when you first start out with the can of sun screen spray. So I went out on the grass and set the can on the sidewalk facing the grass[ ultimately i did not want to mess up the color of the cement and the grass gets cut per week! LOL! ]I pushed down really hard and a solid click happened when I did that and afterwards... wa la! The sprayer worked great like the first can did. Who knew! Hope this helps someone!!! because the PRODUCT IS GREAT!!!

Sunscreens are very tough to find one that works when you are riding a bicycle In the extreme heat and sun for many hours. Well this one works!!! I have not seen one that works this well. I purchased the spray on version. Sprayed it on, rubbed it in. It is not greasy, sticky, or leave you with white cream streaks. After seven hours and 75 miles in the sun. I was not sun burnt at all. I also realized I had been sweating and the sweat went into my eyes and it did not cause any stinging. And the best I did not smell like a mango or pineapple all day. I would definitely recommend this sunscreen. It is the best!!

This sprays clear on my African skin. I am similar in complexion to Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell and Michelle Obama. There is no white cast. I use it on my face and body. I first spray it on my hands and then apply it to my face and body. Nobody could tell that I am wearing sunblock. The above photos show my left arm from driving for over 35 years without sunblock.

This was the first mineral sunscreen I ever used, and at the time of its release, I believe it was marketed as the first mineral spray sunscreen with zinc oxide. This sunscreen is a combination of a mineral and a chemical sunscreen with two active ingredients being zinc oxide and octinoxate. Only zinc oxide will provide the full, broad spectrum protection.Although this sunscreen is one I would not consider to be strong protection against UVA and UVB rays, I still would recommend it because it goes light on the skin, it is easy to apply and it is easy to wash off. It also leaves a slight white cast that is much less noticeable than other mineral sunscreens on the market. Therefore, I only use this sunscreens in the mornings and when I wish to be discreet about using sunscreen.

I searched high & low for a zinc based spray sunscreen that didn’t have a bunch of junk in the ingredients AND had good reviews - EltaMD UV Aero Sunscreen fit the bill.Pro’s-Used this for a week in Cabo in the middle of summer and neither my husband nor I got burned.It has a slight white cast which helps you see where the product was applied & then you rub it in (doesn’t take much effort to rub it in). Once applied, you are good to go for 80 min in the water!Con’s: It’s a bit pricey even in in comparison to others products in the mineral based sunscreen market.Bottom line- It works, it’s easy to rub in, the ingredients don’t contain a bunch of crazy cancer causing chemicals and did I mention - it actually works???!!! Just make sure you remember to shake before applying!

I purchased six different clear zinc sunscreens to see if there might be any worth using as a substitute for “traditional” sunscreens given the FDA report citing only zinc as GRAS. I am happy to report to you, fellow consumer, that this product (and likely the entire EltaMD lineup) is the best zinc sunscreen available and essentially parity with other clear, shear, dry spray-on sunscreens. It goes on clear, feels great, and works great. It’s expensive but that only further suggests this company knows what they have - the best product on the market, period. As a liquid backup I recommend the Coppertone Defend & Care clear zinc cream. The others were not up to the task at all. Put your money where your values are and use this to protect your family.

I live in FL, and I am constantly outside working in the yard, walking my Collie or at the beach. EltaMD is now my go-to brand of sunscreen, and the Aero 45 is very effective and comfortable. I first discovered EltaMD Zinc Oxide sunscreen as it was offered as a free sample at my dermatologist. The Aero is a foam-style, going on easily and smoothly. It does not leave a white make-up look as I have experienced with some Zinc Oxide sunscreens. You do have to take a few seconds to rub it in, but because it is a foamy product, application is a snap. I have experienced little if any stinging in my eyes from forehead perspiration, but I still take care to wipe perspiration there just in case. Most important, the EltaMD blockage is noticeable and excellent.

Bought this expensive bottle i get it it is import. But its definitely NOT normal for it to be defective after 3 days of light use i applied it only on my neck!!! The can sounds feels like its still full. I heard they dont accept returns. I bet they want me to sue them this is unecaptable
