Shockingly weak EXO sidewall
Apparently I rubbed a rock somewhere during a slow uphill section, and this crepe paper tire didn't just get a scuff, nick or even a gouge, it ripped wide open all the way from the rim to the second row of knobbies! Brand new tire, first couple of miles in. Been riding the same system of trails for a while, on two sets of specialized Butcher Grids, which have gotten plenty of scuffs on the sidewalls but never a hint of a tear. Decided to 'upgrade' to the way more expensive Maxxis on the rear. FIRST ride it opens up like a pinata and I am walking home. So much for 60 tpi EXO, wow. Guess the rekon's just for riding on soft moss and fire roads.

Rolls fast and corners well
This is a great all around tire. I have run them front and back and find them to perform well. It also makes a great fast rolling rear tire paired with something more aggressive up front
