Absolutely love it! Beautiful, fun, classy, vintage look. This is a fairly small watch if you are a man. I have a 6.5–7 inch wrist (male) and this watch, of course, looks rather small by today’s standards, but I don’t care because it looks really cool and reminds me of a watch I wanted when I was a kid in the early 80s. Well-made and should probably last for a while. It is not gold nor is it made of high-end or thick material. It is the watch you should expect for the price, but since it’s a Casio, it is pretty good quality. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for that fun, quirky, classic, vintage look.

seriously, for 50$ I am absolutely in love with this watch. I work in the healthcare field and this watch tells me the date time, sets times and gives me an hourly chime. Not to mention it is stunning!! I read tons of comments saying it is too small but the sizing is perfect and the face is beautifully square. It is lightweight but looks expensive and is extremely functional. A MUST BUY!!!

I never wear gold jewelry, but I really loved the way this AQ-230 looked, especially the watch face. If you don't wear gold jewelry typically or think the all gold is too much, take off the bands and buy a cheap leather band on Amazon, and you can turn the AQ-230 into a luxury watch. The black and gold go really well together, and the alligator/lizard skin pattern makes this look like a 1 of 1 watch!

I am happy to have found an analog display watch with a day of the week and date display that doesn't have a busy, multi-dial design. This is marketed as a men's watch, but as some of the other reviews have noted, the face is on the small side for a men's watch. I am a woman with an approximately 5 3/4-inch wrist and can wear it comfortably. The size and style is similar to the digital Casio (A159WGEA) I was wearing.It is hard to capture in photos, but the dial is a light gold metal that appears cream to dark gold depending on the angle from which you view it. (I initially thought I was ordering a watch with a cream face.)I'm very happy with my purchase! The same model is available from Los Angeles Apparel and secondhand websites for $80-90, so this price is a very good deal. Shipping took slightly longer than originally estimated.

I wear it all the time, it's become my go-to alarm clock... does that job when I want it to without being too abrasive. Keeps time, beeps on the hour same exact instant as the satellite-connected phone in my pocket. Simple yet elegant design not trying to be something it's not, so to speak. I like how much digital functionality they fit into the tiny strip with the control of only two buttons. Yet you can tell three different time zones if you want to, stopwatch, alarm, day, date, splash of water is no problem... and it's a dress-watch style, but because it doesn't try to pose as a more expensive watch anyone can feel perfectly classy wearing it. Find me a better watch in this price range. Please. If it exists I want it asap.-Evan

Pros:-Yellow gold (tone)! Okay, you had a good run white and rose gold, but yellow gold—this is the gold of empires! The brush finish on the bracelet really helps tone down the bling factor if that bothers you. And my particular model has gold on all sides of the bracelet as well as gold pushers, which I really wanted to see.-Easy to adjust band. I love these slide and lock clasps systems.-Lightweight-Classic case sizing.-Added capability with digital features.Cons-Very small digital screen-No backward setting ability for hands-No lume or backlight-Tricky to set (see my tips below)Setting tips-Set the time on the digital display first.-Set the hands to within 2-3 minutes BEHIND the correct time on the digital screen, and…-… do so as the time is nearing one of the quarter hours, i.e. 0:15, 0:30, 0:45, 0:00-One push of the hands setting button advances the minute hand by 20 seconds. That means when the digital time hits that quarter hour mark, say 2:45 for example, you have an entire 20 seconds to get that minute hand aligned exactly with the 9 marker. When the time hits 2:45 and 20 seconds, the hand will move appropriately, and in sync with the digital time.This watch is undeniably cool. A colleague of mine has this exact model and it looks great. For me, however, it feels a bit off. I think it’s because retro has a sweet spot for different people in terms of era and corresponding design aesthetic, and while I adore the watches of my youth in the 80s, this one lacks that “The future is now” charm that so many strictly digital offerings from this era bring.Still a great choice if it sings to you.

prime wasn’t offered so i ordered a month in advance and it was predicted to come some time between february 5-27 😭 came earlier than predicted and it’s perfect! arrived in this case and will make a perfect valentines gift for my boyfriend.
