This is a fabulous recipe binder. The cover is padded with a charming "retro" kitchen utensil motif (same design repeated on the divider pockets). Pages are good quality, thicker paper/ cardstock. Pages measure 8-1/4"x8-1/4" (binder cover 9-1/2"x9-1/2").Comes with (1) 60 pages. (2) 8 dividers, each with pocket, labelled: appetizers, beverages, soups and salads, side dishes, main dishes, breads and grains, desserts, holidays (note this is not original order -- I switched them according to my preferences). (3) 8 splash guard sheets which are clear, thin plastic that can lay flat over a page (I'm using mine to lay over the divider pockets for now). (4) 8 magnetic photo sheets that you can slip cards or photos into.these look like a mini version of a photo journal page. All this takes up the full thickness of the binder (rings are approx 3/4 to 1" diameter).I like to hand write-out my favorite recipes on a page (I don't like cards because too small for me), so I like the printed page layout (the reverse side of the pages are lined without any subject headings unlike the front side of the page). Plus the pages have a small colorful printed motif in the bottom right corner.The layout is simple, utilitarian, and charming. I couldn't be more pleased.Update: Using book almost daily for last 6+ months and find it extremely durable. No problem with binder spine. I saw previous review and wonder if aberration or if they corrected issue, but can say my binder has stood up well to daily use.

I loved this home cooking book! It is very well designed and ergonomic. It comes with lots of pages and dividers so there's no need to buy anything extra like the other products out there that come incomplete. It is a perfect gift or even a nice book to pass down to your family generations. I was very pleased and would definitively recommend this. P.S. Before committing to this one, I looked at A LOT of other blank recipe books and this is still the best one I could find (specially for the price and all it brings).

I was a little worried after reading the comments on how "small" it is, but I'm so happy that I decided to purchase it! This book feels so sturdy, has the cutest design, has plenty of paper, photo holders, and tabs. And I also found it to be the perfect size. This is going to be a mothers day gift for my mom in law and I know she'll love it!!

The only downside to this binder is that you don't have the option to customize your divider tabs - I prefer to categorize mine differently than these (hence 4 stars instead of 5). That aside, the colors and patterning of this set is lovely, there is a perfect combination of recipe sheets, pockets, and photo/clippings pages, as well as plastic page protectors to protect your recipes when using the book. I like having rings because I can move, remove, or add pages whenever I like, and the pockets will be perfect for recipe cards from other family members whose handwriting I want to keep. I'm beginning the huge undertaking of transferring all of my favorite recipes from 30 years of cooking into one location, and this binder is perfect.

I am so impressed with this book I’m buying one to make for each of my kids to pass down. It’s perfect. I love that it even has a place to put a memory on it.

The pages are separate, as described, and make organizing ones recipes very easy. The binder comes with plenty of pages, however, additional pages can be purchased at the official website. My wife uses it primarily to record her recipes, and she has complained a little bit about getting used to the format (pages are formatted kind of odd for recording recipes, but it keeps the pages looking neat).

It’s a great combination of written and saved paper recipes

I bought this as a house warming present for a good friend of mine and was going to write some recipies she wanted in it. I wanted this particular cookbook because I thought the inside was just great and plentiful. Upon recieving my FIRST order, I opened the cookbook to find that the binding had been completely ripped off from the cover. In looking at this closer it looked as if the binding was cheap and not made for such a heavy filled book and no matter what you did ,even if you were to take some paper out, upon the first opening the binder woudl rip off from the cover.. Since I really wanted this particular book for my friend i decided ot give it another chance and call amazon to fix this issue. They did and re shipped a new one free of charge within one day. To my disgust, I opened the SECOND package to fine the exact same issue, The cheap binding was again ripped off from the cover.. I will NEVER buy from this company again and I urge ANYONE who attempts to buy this particular cook book to think twice. I will admit the inside is great but it does NOT make up for the cheap binding that is unable to hold the book together.
