Easy to set-up and looks durable
Plastic box looks neat and durable. Very easy to set-up; Detach the plastic key from the front of the box push it into the two slots and turn to force open the retaining catches. Mine contained a single A4 instruction leaflet but it doesn't take a genius to set up this station. Simply slide the chemical blocks on to the metal rods, slot the rods back into position, shut the lid and job done. Box comes with a plastic fixing to enable it to be secured more permanently if required. Box has two entrance holes diameter of which is just a bit larger than a rat !!! Keeps out hedgehogs so safe to have in place while they are around. It has two internal trays inside the box so is also suitable for use with pellets. And yes there's no rat trap but I knew that when purchasing from the review comments already out there. Pretty good value really.

The rat is gone but the box is hard to lock
My rat loved the bait and two helpings were taken. No sign of him since!The box doesn’t really lock so I’m putting a plant pot on top of it to keep it closed. However, the poison works!

The box does work, well worth the money paid. Would recommend.
Used it in garage as we saw mice . Left a few days then had a look and some of the poison had been eaten, not seen any since. So keeping fingers crossed.

bad design and too small
The picture of the bait station with a packet of poison grain in front of it is deceptive. The bait station is MUCH smaller in comparison to the packet of grain than it appears in the photo. Too small for an average sized rat. The listing shows a removable tray for the grain which was not included. The metal bars for holding bait blocks only hold one block and are insecure. The blocks AND bars were removed by rodents. The locking system for the lid is awful.

Check poison regularly
Well built and easy to use. Though it wasn’t working only to open and find all the food gone...refilled...three days later check and all gone again..not sure how many rats there are but they are hungry..checking every day now! May need more poison.

Not impressed
The box is large but the area and the rod to put the bait on each side is small !When I checked the box the bait had been taken and so had the bait rod ! So I couldn't use the box anymore !Very disappointed with this product and wouldn't recommend
