Goofy Movie, A

Wonderful film from the 90s. A great movie for both kids and adults that continues to have just enough heart and soul in a way many animated flicks these days never quite reach. Watched this countless times on VHS as a kid and this Disney Exclusive Blu-Ray release has it looking better than ever. Well worth the purchase.

A friend asked me to buy this for him. At first I thought it would be funny to say I would buy it for him but take it figuratively and present him with a movie that is goofy, like Spaceballs, then give him what I knew he meant but I decided not to do that. I ordered it and it took a while to get it due to winter storms in different parts of the country. He got a little impatient and I said it's going as fast as it can, this ain't Operation Dumbo Drop. Every time I've told that joke it bombed. He was very happy when he got the movie and I was impressed with the amount of bonus features on the disc. Great value for the money.

A goofy movie one of my favorite, Disney, animated movies

It’s a classic.

A Goofy Movie is pure nostalgia in animated form. I watched it as a kid and thought it was just funny and chaotic. Watching it now? It somehow hits even harder — and it’s still hilarious. The music? Absolute bangers. The father-son awkwardness? Painfully relatable. The road trip disaster energy? Timeless. It’s goofy (obviously), but it also has heart. You laugh, you cringe, you maybe tear up a little during “I 2 I,” and suddenly you’re emotionally invested in a cartoon dog dad just trying his best. Still funny. Still quotable. Still a classic. Powerline forever. 🎤✨

This movie is pretty funny. Its about a father & son. & Dad tries to be both a mother & a father to his son near the beginning, you'll see him vacuuming & wearing an apron over his head pretending to be like a housewife. They have nothing in common it seems like. & the father only wants to increase the bond between the 2, as if he was one of his sons friends from school. All kids boys & girls want their parents to understand them, & believe me that doesn't come easy. Junior prefers to be around his friends more then his father. & just enjoys being cool. So one day after Junior misbehaves in school by pretending to be a rock n roll star, & getting in trouble with the school principal, Dad decides its time to show his son just how much he loves him. Even if he is missing the point that his son is trying to get across to him. So the Journey begins. & Junior goes anyways even though he is against going. The funniest part was them arguing over the radio. The part about their encounter with big foot I didn't enjoy all that much, & him riding on the roof of their car. I would have loved to of gotten to see more of Pete their neighbor. You see a lot of fancy stuff with his RV trailer, stuff you'll only see in a fantasy world. Another funny part was when Dad wasn't watching the road very carefully, & they go off of a cliff & land in the river. & use their car the way they would use a raft & continue their Journey to Hollywood to see Juniors admired singer, & Junior gets his wish after all. & the girl he was attracted to finally truly falls for him. The movie is worth watching & very very goofy! & on the TV show that use to come on the Disney channel, just ordinary everyday cartoons, I have seen this one cartoon where goofy gets kissed by every visitor, this is the one where he is raising a son with short red hair named Junior. & has a wife, trying to raise a family, he also gets fat. I know goofy no question about it. & seen most of the cartoons he's in.

La edición es muy sencilla pero afortunadamente, con todo y que es Región 1, tiene el doblaje latino, y los extras están decentes. Esencial para cualquier niño de los 90s.

Película de mi infancia y de mis favoritas de Disney. Esta en español pero ojo porque no en todos los reproductores deja ir al menú de la película para cambiar el idioma. En mi xbox one no me permitía cambiar el idioma ni acceder al menú y encima la imagen se reducía añadiendo un marcó negro alrededor. Pero probé con el reproductor de mi PS2 y deja ir al menú de la película para cambiar el idioma o elegir capítulos. La película es muy entretenida de principio a fin.
