Looks great.
My son & I installed this over my old countertop at my house. It was pretty easy to install. It does take two people to install. One person really can't do it alone. You can stick it down & pull back up to move and it will stick again just great. It is easy to cut. You want something like a squeegee (nothing sharp) to smooth out the vinyl and you will need a hair dryer. The hair dryer helps decrease wrinkles. A great product and looks just like a granite countertop. I highly recommend this. This is an inexpensive way to update a countertop.

Beautiful!
This stuff truly looks like real granite. Take your time! You can pull it up and redo areas. Once complete I did take a blow-dryer over it to help secure it more. I really hope this stays secure for a really long time. Only time will tell. There are a few bubbles. There was no way to make sure there weren't any. Also, the instructions say that it takes 36 hours to cure. It didn't say anything about the temps for your house though. I'm saying this because the contact paper on the roll was not as sticky today as it was yesterday. The temp dropped from 80s yesterday to 30s today so my house is colder. I hope this will not affect it curing. I also did this by myself and it was exhausting. Use scissors to cut and measure and then a utility blade to slice off the excess for a clean cut. The corners were the worst. I still can't figure out how to make them look natural. There is a blue tint that comes through on mine. I'm sure it's the lighting. Lolol I put aluminum foil around the corners to help keep my cat off of it. 😂😂😂😂

Buyer Beware -- This product is terrible
In my opinion, this product is terrible. Beware. I just purchased two rolls of this Instant Granite and was very excited to transform my kitchen. However, I was in for a shock. Firstly, the instructions provided are a single white sheet of paper; it seems very cheap and unprofessional. The Instant Granite "black" looked sickly. It did not look anything like granite. The company sent one giant role, rather than the two I ordered, which added difficulty to the project. On inspecting the role, I noticed that the Instant Granite was already warped and wrinkled fresh out of the can it came in -- this was not a good sign. On attempting to apply the product, I became more and more concerned. Once applied, the black sickly Instant Granite looked like black trash bags stuck to my counter, not at all like granite. Further, it was almost impossible to apply. Because the product is so cheap, it wrinkles and creases very easily -- these wrinkles and creases are permanent and do not come out. Further, the Instant granite loses its stickiness, so there are bubbles and rough patches everywhere.Next, I attempted to cover the Instant Granite around the sink. Don't even try!!! The level of difficulty is expert level. When I cut out the sink using a razor, I was cutting blind, so the line was uneven and the counter top showed through the gaps. At this point in time, I gave up. I spent $200 on this product, because I had it shipped abroad and paid duty etc. Do you know, this product was so poor that I crumpled it in a ball and threw it in the trash without thinking twice about my lost cash. That's how bad it was. I'd rather lose $200 than spend another second with it.This product is terrible. The company knows that people want the look of granite but cannot afford it, so they created this to trick consumers out of their hard earned cash. If it was just difficult to apply, I would understand, but the look of Instant Granite was completely off. Again, it looked like I had stuck black garbage bags on my counters. It feels like the same contact paper used to cover books and likely is -- it should cost $5 a sheet, not $50. I wish I had read a review like this before purchasing. Do not buy!!! Save your money and buy a new counter top or granite.

Really amazing stuff, but get EXTRA
I have to start with saying that I was a little over confident to install this after watching all the videos. Let me tell you, if you get it wrong even after 6-8 inches are laid, the instructions say "just remove and reposition" yeah ok, if you are he-man. Once you start laying this, its a ***** to get up again. Thats not a bad thing, that means it will hold and last. But god I got a workout like no tomorrow. I was drenched in sweat, 6 hours of work later. But its great looking. So I rent a home with stained and ugly counters, knife cuts all over them as if someone used them as a cutting board, one drop of wine = instant stain. So figured it was time to do something. I researched a lot and chose this product based not he reviews and all the videos I saw of the installation. This really looks beautiful when installed.A few notes.1. Get more than you need. My first attempt at the small counter on the right was a mess. I had exactly 6 inches left over because of that and re-doing it. So get the next size up from what you need, trust me, its worth it.2. When they say do the backsplash and the counter in two pieces, trust them, I tried one piece, they were right LOL3. Plan out the install. I knew I wanted to take the sink out since it needed re-sealing anyway. So make sure you have everything at the ready to do so if you want.4. Take your time. Take breaks, and dont let it frustrate you. I had to stop because getting the long counter lined up was a pain in the ass and I had to pull up a full front to back and 3 foot section. That was so hard I was exhausted.5. On long sections like the sink run (i did it in one piece) what I ended up doing is having a 6" square of adhesive exposed and lined that up. Once I did, I went to the other end and let up a tiny spot, just enough to "tack" it in place to make sure it was lined up. then went back to the main corner, repositioned it so it was not crooked. Once you have that right it will naturally fall into place.6. While tis is really a 1 person job, two people could make it easier. Not like you can both do things at the same time, but on the ling counter if someone had held the other end of the vinyl while I removed the backing it would have gone swimmingly. So here is my one bad and hated thing about this (other than the hard work it took to install it of course haha). The roll itself. I really, REALLY, R E A L L Y, wished they had reversed rolled this stuff. It is very hard to position right and remove the backing etc. because the roll obviously had been like that for a while so the vinyl had "taken shape" so even a 2 foot section kept curing back up on top of itself and it was really hard to work with. If they had reverse rolled it, it would have rolled down the counters easily and would have made installation 100X easier.

Actual product is far lower in quality from images.
The granite print image is completely different from what the Amazon page suggests. There is no depth to the print, and the textures are very blurry.
