A size large suspension is not approved for use in a medium hard hat. The shell size must match the suspension size.

Whats the difference between v guard and skullgard?

The MSA V-gard is a plastic hard hat and the suspension has plastic clips on the tips. The MSA Skullgard is a fiberglass hard hat and uses the metal clips on the tips to attach.
