This damper closes with conviction!!
Excellent product!!! Opens when it's supposed to, and closes when it's supposed to. I have tried the "Fantech" brand, but it ends up binding after awhile, due to poor quality axle assembly and a weak spring mechanism. This Vent Systems damper utilizes a double spring and larger diameter axle rod. Flanges are also more heavy duty, with rubber seal along flange resting area. Overall a much better product!! Thanks Vent Systems!!

worked very well
These worked very well where I installed a wood furnace into the main furnace duct in my house. No problems installing them.

Worth the 25 dollars
Wicked easy to install and sturdier than I expected. Also it will seal for the most part.

It functions well, it’s solid but it doesn’t fit well. It’s a smaller diameter than it should be.

This thing is arrived very bent and wont seal anything off, might as well just leave it open

Flimsy butterflies, both arrived bent
The rubber gasketing is a nice touch but the bent flappers with loose tolerances will allow plenty of back draft. Will need to modify with aluminum tape.

Works great
Installed for my range hood. Put this up near the termination through the roof, works well and hardly makes any sound when it opens or closes. Make sure when you install this that you're not putting it right next to the fan if you can avoid it. Putting it further down the line will help with static pressure and airflow.

Für mich nicht brauchbar
Habe die Klappe in ein PVC Rohr DN 100 eingebaut. Leider hatte mein Badlüfter nicht genug Power um die Klappe aufzudrücken. Musste sie wieder ausbauen.

No es estanco, no es antirretorno. Posee muchos espacios en la zona del muelle por donde vuelve el aire sin problemas. Sigo teniendo el mismo olor del piso del vecino
