Highly Recommend Affordable Speakers
I can't speak to longevity yet, moreso first impressions. First of all, they're really nice looking. They are a bit larger than I was expecting, and they look great on my desk. Second, this is the version 3, which means they only take a single cable to connect, rather than 2 which was the case with older models. It connects via USB-C. It comes with a USB-A adaptor should you need one. It also has Bluetooth which is easy to access: so you'll plug it in to be powered and that will play the audio for the device you have plugged in, but you can also connect a device like your phone to play audio through Bluetooth. To me, they sound absolutely fantastic for 40 dollars. It doesn't have a super deep bass or anything like that, but the overall sound quality sounds very good with nice clarity. The quality of the speakers feel great, turning the volume knob feels like a quality product. They also have a nice circular piece of rubber on the bottom to keep them from sliding around on your desk. You are not buying the best speakers ever created, but for 40 bucks, absolutely phenomenal. If you just need some speakers because your monitor doesn't have any, you cannot go wrong with these. I highly recommend them. Packaging was nice and simple too. I can't speak for longevity yet, but from what I've read these are basically the best budget speakers one can buy.

Great purchase
super easy to install, the audio sounds amazing and can get very loud when you turn it up all the way. Fits my desk perfectly and it's design is very cute and clean which doesn't make it ugly to look at. Has a bluetooth option which is great and versatile but I prefer to use it plugged into my computer.

Sound great, but I had issues that required considerable trouble-shooting
I bought these only because the speakers built into my 8 year old monitor had failed. I needed a simple replacement and took a chance on these rather than buy a new monitor with new built in speakers. I listen to spoken word streaming most of the time, with occasional music mp3s. I don't have high requirements and don't need or want a sub-woofer or an expensive setup. I don't game at all. These speakers are connected to a productivity PC (Windows 11 Pro; Intel 265K CPU, MSI Pro Z890-A motherboard; nothing unusual). I wanted to use these with a simple equalizer and chose FxSound, a free download. These "worked" right out of the box, but developed issues within hours. Total and sudden loss of sound merely by lowering the volume control on the right hand speaker. I did not rotate to the "off" position. I only turned the knob down to low volume as anyone might for experimental purposes. What followed was about 18 hours of interaction with Google AI to resolve this known issue. The solution was quite complex and involved changing settings in Windows Device Manager, Windows sound control panel, FxSound output device, and eventually even in Windows Task Scheduler. The short story is that Windows, FxSound, and the speakers themselves were all competing and interfering with each other. I'd get a tentatively good configuration, only to have sound totally disappear on the next reboot. It's fixable if you have the knowledge and patience. I would never have figured it out without Google AI help. I had about 15 sessions with them over a 48 hour period. One session was not enough because I always had to re-boot to test the configuration, which then required a new AI session because the reboot destroyed the configuration. Settings would not persist through a reboot. You might have better luck if you don't need an equalizer at all. That would probably mean less fighting for control. I might never have had a single problem if I had not first moved that volume knob to a lower state within the first half hour of ownership. KEEP THAT ROTARY CONTROL AT THE MIDPOINT OR HIGHER AND MAKE ANY VOLUME ADJUSTMENTS THROUGH SLIDERS IN YOUR BROWSER OR THROUGH THE MASTER VOLUME SLIDER IN WINDOWS ITSELF. I am quite happy with the overall sound and results as of right now, subject to change if problems recur. It's been only 24 hours and a couple of boot cycles without issues so far. I received these only 3 days ago, so cannot comment on long term durability. Not a 5 star review because of the time I had to spend to get issues resolved.

Great budget speakers.
For the value proposition, they are great. 40 dollars for speakers that are small, connected with USB-C (and comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter), plug & play, and sound decent. I bought these as I grew tired of playing games with my makeshift speaker (headphones on a stand). These are good for gaming and watching shows & movies. The volume is quite loud, but the volume knob being easy to reach is a big plus, so you get to choose your sweet spot easy. The build quality of these things are decent as well. If you're looking for an upgrade to your speaker setup for playing games without headphones and you aren't an audiophile, I'd recommend these. Otherwise, get those expensive subwoofers and the whole nine yards and you'll be satisfied.

Great little desktop speakers
I bought these for my desk setup and I’m really happy with them. I wasn’t looking for some massive sound system, just something neat, simple, and better than the tiny built-in speakers on a monitor or laptop. These do exactly that. They look good on the desk, don’t take up much room, and the sound is much better than I expected for the size and price. Voices are clear, which is great for Zoom calls, YouTube, training videos, and general everyday use. Music sounds pretty decent too, as long as you’re realistic about what these are. They’re small desktop speakers, not a full home theater setup. Setup was easy, and I like that they can connect by USB or Bluetooth. The volume knob on the front is handy as well, much better than fiddling around with settings every time. Overall, I think these are a great value. Simple, tidy, good-looking little speakers that do the job really well.

Just exactly what I was looking for!
These little speakers are just perfect! I was having difficulty hearing conversations on Zoom even with the computer's volume all the way up. These are perfect for adding a little volume and a lot of clarity. They are easy to use and adjust. And they are a nice size to fit between the keyboard and slightly under my monitor. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Really good for the size and money.
I picked these up because I have a laptop that I sometimes use for gaming on the road or at a friends house. I normally use headphones with the laptop, but I was finding myself needing actual speakers from time to time. It wasn't a huge need, so I wasn't going to spend any big money and these looked good for 'cheap' speakers that would just get the job done. I have to say, the result surprised me. First, the overall volume. For such a small set of speakers powered by a single USB, these things have some real volume. They will easily fill a bedroom and then some, they can go quite loud if you need them to. They don't distort at high volume and they have a good mix of highs, mids and lows. Now, that being said, these are NOT audiophile grade speakers. If you have a trained ear and are used to high end speakers or studio monitors, these are not for you but I assume you already know that as audiophile speakers start at 10x this price range. They are compact, loud and they sound quite good. I have used them to listen to music and play some games and they really deliver in all areas. It's actually surprising that such sound comes out of such a small speaker.. they're hands down the best 'cheap' PC speakers I have ever heard.. it's not even close. This is the point where I would post the negatives, but honestly.. for sub $40 with this sound anything I bring up would be a nitpick at best. They're not the rock bottom cheapest you can get, but if you want something good that doesn't have a big price tag.. pick these up. They're surprisingly good.

Great for zoom calls
the Pebble 3 desktop speakers are overall good. They are small, a bit larger than a coffee cup. So they did not take up much space. The cable to my computer barely reached, but I do not have my computer on the desk. Comes USB-C standard with an adapter for USB-A. The clarity of the speakers is really good. But if you want to jam out, not with these speakers. The bass is pretty much not existent. Which is not an issue for what I got them for, zoom calls. The price seems a bit high for this basic speaker set, but I didn't really shop around much. Creative usually makes solid speakers. Just plugged into my Mac Studio, not setup required, just toggled in the settings to direct which speakers to use.

Great quality
Great quality and loud enaugh for my needs. The only downside is lack of the cover for drivers so it is catching the dust easily. Very clear sound and no any noise at all.

Amazing sound quality, especially for voices and vocals. It's beautiful!
I bought this knowingly that it’s not focused on bass, though it does have some. Ignore that, and it sounds incredible! The sound quality is amazing. However, sometimes if a song has instruments overlapping with the human voice frequency, the vocals don’t come through as distinctly, and the instruments can interrupt them. That’s the one weakness I found. Overall, I still chose 5 stars because of how good it sounds, especially for vocals, and how satisfied I am with the purchase. But that detail is worth noting. Value for money? 5/5 Size? 5/5 Quality? 5/5 Bass? 2.8/5 Wire length is good! Connectivity is flawless!
