For a kiddo with minimal leaks/accidents in the crib, I only needed one. For second kiddo with more frequent leaks, I purchased a second one so that I could do middle of the night crib sheet changes. This is amazing, especially for stomach sleepers. They can breathe so easily through this with just a cotton crib sheet over it. Any winter/fleece crib sheets will hinder the air flow. But I would recommend this for any baby. It's not noisy, it hasn't stained once even with just a thin, cotton cover. And it fully protected the mattress from any leak. It's easily washable and dries quickly in the dryer. The elastic around the mattress is very durable, reasonably tight fit, and the whole thing stays put. Three years and two babies later, this still looks new. Highly recommend. Expensive, but worth it. Once I forgot to put a crib sheet on it at all, and baby was still able to sleep on it comfortably. But it isn't meant to NOT be covered, isn't really soft, and it left little circle imprints on baby's face without the cover.

These mattress pads are top quality. I’ve purchased this item for both of my grandchildren and couldn’t be happier with padding, material, and softness added to the mattress through this pad.

My daughter just started rolling over and this thing gives me so much peace of mind! I got a graco mattress that was NOT breathable but this mattress protector makes it so that it is! I’ve woken up to find my daughter completely face down (which terrified the heck out of me) and she was breathing just fine! I even tested this out myself (by smushing it against my face and breathing) and it works so well! In my opinion it’s a cheaper option than buying one of those expensive breathable mattresses because the cost of any mattresses plus this costs so much less! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This is awesome. We were getting really worried about the crib mattress we bought, which has 0 breathability. We put this cover on, smooshed our faces into it, and were about to breathe almost normally. This will give me peace of mind

Love this mattress cover. It’s still soft and comfortable for my daughter but works well and is super easy to clean. Drys very very quickly too!
