WiZ Smart Light Bulb, E14 Base

Wiz has definitely gotten better over the years owned by the same company as Philips Hue but at a more affordable option you are certain you are getting good quality in you bulbs. Wiz has a reputation for having one of the most cleanest and reliable apps even though the bulbs are an affordable. Plus with matter integration it has only gotten better, these bulbs are actually quite bright and show the warm white and cool white colours really well.

I've started replacing hue bulbs with these when they stop working, made by the same company (Signify), same brightness, but considerably cheaper. Minor irritation with these is that they don't dim down as far as the hue bulbs can, so its more of a choice between 40%-100% than the 0%-100% you get with Hue. I do like Wiz schedules though and that they can adjust their colour state using a normal lightswitch (on off on again to switch between 2 options) which makes it quite simple. One conflict is the schedules and switch state dont really play well together, when the bulb reconnects to the wifi it overrides the state to whatever the schedule determines.

would recommend. It supports Matter and works on iphone and apple watch without the apple hub. For apple wacth to work after pairing on iPhone's Home app, on apple watch you need to turn off its bluetooth and enable its wifi and connected to the one that bulb uses, then try to turn off / on the bulb on apple watch Home app and after that it works normally and no need for apple hub, however all apple devices need to be on same wifi as the bulb. WiZ app itself is very easy to set up and use and can control the bulb remote away from home on different wifi or cellular internet.

My first one of these bulbs was given to me by my sister who had bought a two pack but only needed the one. She'd told me she was impressed and that I should try one. Now, here I am buying more for myself and some for my partner to use in his place because I think they're great! So easy and quick to set up and use. The app is super user friendly and never has any bugs or issues like with some brands. Plus these are considerably cheaper than the likes of the philips hue bulbs, but serve just as well. You can set up all your lights in the same or different rooms however you like in the app, adjustable colours and brightness, you can set them to come on or off whenever you want. Basically all the convenience you could want right from your phone. The first one my sister gave me some years back is still going strong. If you're torn on what bulbs are best, you certainly can't go wrong with the WiZ bulbs!

Love that you can have different colours and that I don’t have to come home to a dark house at night! Only problem I had was that on one occasion the bulbs wouldn’t turn off. Every time I pressed the button, 5 seconds later it came back on. Instead of using the individual button, I turned all off and that seemed to fix the glitch for now

I bought this only to realise it was the wrong fitting for my light. Eventually it found a purpose as I used it for a different light. Great brightness, bit of a pita to set up the connection but once connected it's fine. Looks great and compatible with Google home. Average energy efficiency for a smart bulb

Awesome bulb, got one that was faulty replaced, but the setup is a doddle. Actually prefer Wi to Hue now!

Super simpel in der Einrichtung. Mit Samsung Samrtthings lassen sich sich auch super leicht Routenen basteln. Komme von Antella Wifi Lampen, die WIZ Lampen sind in allen Belangen die bessere Wahl! Farben sehr schön & kräftig, gehen mit der Helligkeit mit & verblassen bei 100% Helligkeit nicht. 1% Helligkeit ist sehr angenehm dunkel. 100% Weiterempfehlung!

Fantastic smart bulbs! Previously purchased Mirabella bulbs for a lot more money and had trouble connecting to Internet and kept disconnecting. Since getting these bulbs I have found them very easy to connect and the only time they don't work is when the Internet goes off, but they automatically reconnect when Internet is available.

So far so good, very easy setup, done within minutes, easily connected to Google home. Much easier setup than other brands I have, definitely recommend and will buy more.

Diciamo subito che forse non è la marca più economica sul mercato ma avevo già delle lampadine smart di Wiz e volevo sfruttare un'unica app per gestirle tutte. La connessione al wifi è facilissima: dopo aver scaricato l'app e creato un account (o cliccato "aggiungi dispositivo" se l'app sia già in uso per altro), si inserisce la lampadina nella lampada, si accende l'interruttore e l'app fa tutto da sé. AVVERTENZA: tutto questo va fatto rimanendo fisicamente vicini alla lampadina, quindi se il modem si trova in un'altra stanza consiglio vivamente di scriversi la password dell'internet e di tenerla sottomano perché ovviamente ad un certo punto la chiederà (ed eviterete di fare la genialata che ho fatto io, ossia correre a cercarla nel mezzo del processo di collegamento 🤦🏻‍♀️) Sinceramente adoro le lampadine smart perché si possono creare delle routine per l'accensione e spegnimento utilissime: non solo posso monitorare la luce per i miei gatti (quando sono soli in casa), ma soprattutto dall'esterno si ha la sensazione che l'appartamento non sia vuoto. Se si dispone di un assistente vocale (Google o Alexa) si possono anche comandare a voce senza dover muovere un dito. Con l'app di Wiz infine si può scegliere il colore e la luminosità della luce, il che permette anche di creare un'atmosfera molto suggestiva o rilassante senza cambiare lampadine. Le luci smart secondo me sono un investimento utilissimo!
