POC, Joint VPD 2.0 Elbow Pads, Mountain Biking Armor for Men and Women, Uranium Black

Excellent forearm pads, lousy elbow pads. They don't stay in place.
If I could keep these from sliding down onto my forearms, they would be five stars. I am built like a mountain biker - I have big legs and average-guy-sized arms. I'm not Hulk Hogan in terms of biceps, but i'm not scrawny either. I ordered three different sizes of these to try and find the ones that would work for me and had to return them all.For the first 15 minutes that I wear these, they are awesome - very comfortable with plenty of protection. But as a downhill mountain biker, I ride a lot of rough terrain, and at the end of every single run down the mountain they inevitably end up as "forearm pads" instead of elbow pads. The velcro is decent enough but the strapping that holds them on has too much give to it. I've tried strapping them on tighter than a blood pressure cuff and it's still the same - perfectly fine when standing around but useless when moving.I was hoping these would be the magic but they ended up getting returned as well. They are REALLY nice pads that unfortunately don't stay put on my elbows, no matter how many different ways I try to adjust them.

NOPE
Amazon, I'm not sure why you're pawning off used items as "NEW" but c'mon! These things showed up and the box was CLEARLY used. Regardless, I tried them on.My biggest issue is how short they are. As a result, when the upper strap (bicep) is tightened, it cuts into the crease in the arm-bend - not cool. The other issue I have is that the upper strap is stretchy, however, the lower strap is not. BIG mistake, POC. A strap that doesn't stretch on the forearm area, a place that flexes often when biking, makes for an uncomfortable fit.Aside from that, they feel bulky, yet protective, however, I can't imagine they'd be comfortable for a full day of riding. Not for me!

Great for smaller people.
As a smaller chica, I have a really hard time finding pads they fit. I have always heard that poc pads run small so I finally decided to give them a try and I am glad I did because they fit me perfectly. My upper arm measurement is 9in and my lower are in 7.5in. the small fits my arm nice and snug and the padding wraps around my elbow wothout looking too bulky....These are a bit blukier than other elbow pads I have used but the comfort makes up for that.

Ok, but too expensive I think.
easy to put on and off. comfortable during ride. you almost forget it is there around your elbows. however, you will need to adjust it once or twice during a 3 hours ride. The lower Velcro gets loose and the upper one has also a problem. it is too long so if you stretch it, then the closure is not good enough and when the closure is good enough, then it is not tight enough. to overcome this I usually put it directly over my elbows beneath my long sleeve shirt so the Velcro stays in place and tight enough.I had never fell of my bike with this elbow protector so I can't really say how protected it is.

Perfect sizing, Perfect fit.
There's no question about POC's product quality but judging from various reviews I was concerned about the proper size to order.I'm 6'2" and chose LARGE. Ridden on two trips, total 25 miles of X-country and can happily report these elbow pads are PERFECT. No slippage, and until you remove them probably will forget you even are wearing them. My forearm size where the strap attaches is 12", and where the strap attaches above my elbow is 12.5". They fit snug but not tight. Just the way you want them! I hope this helps others with any sizing concerns.

Great Pads
I've got about 15 rides and a few mild crashes on these pads. Thus far they are comfortable and flex easily. Once I start riding, I forget I'm wearing them. I don't know if they saved me any serious injury or not, but I've been unscathed with each crash, so I'll keep wearing them. I do have a pair of G-Form Pro Rugged kneed pads and have to say the POC VPD 2.0 elbow pads are of a much better design and construction. I'll be buying all POC pads going forward.

If you're close to the max size then size up.
So product seems high quality. My only issue is size. I measured my arms and was on the high end of the medium and figuring maybe it is supposed to fit snug I chose the medium based on the recommend fit. However even though the fabric has plenty of give there is this stitched band that has no give. This bit into my bicep so I am returning for one size up. Fingers crossed that sorts it out.

Saves you from nasty MTb crash
Saved my elbows from multiple by crash. I’ve had two pretty nasty bike crash and was totally unharmed except for a minor scratch due to some small rocks gotten inside my pads. Had I not been wearing them, it would have been worse. Totally recommend it. Worth the price.

High quality elbow pads
Good quality but better suited for prevention of grazes. Note these do not have a hard proctector in them

Daher in gegenwärtigem Zustand absolut keine Empfehlung.Von POC bin ich Besseres gewohnt.

Top Schützer
Hatte Sie erst in der Doppelpack bestellt. Knie Gr.L Ellbogen Gr. MLeider musste ich die Ellbogen zurück senden und in der Gr. L bestellen. Sie waren viel zu eng und ich habe keine dicken Arme. Also Gr. M fällt sehr klein aus.
