Hair Straightener Brush 2 in 1 Ionic Straightening Brush Auto-Off Safe & Easy to Use Straightening Comb for Travel, Salon at Home (MINIZONE-8)

This item works great & overall I am VERY happy with it! However, there are a few things that I feel could be improved, or that I would like to note, so here they are:The brush gets SUPER hot, which in turn makes your hair VERY hot to the touch if you don’t wear the glove that is included! You also have to be a little careful about the angle at which you hold the brush, as it gets really hot around the edges & can burn your skin if you don’t hold it correctly. (I seem to have the most difficulty when I’m straightening the back of my hair down by my neck). It just takes a little practice to figure out how to hold it without burning.I have found the easiest way to use this straightening brush is to THOROUGHLY brush through your hair with your regular hairbrush FIRST before you start straightening. The reason is because the straightener tends to get hung up in your hair a bit if you have any tangles/snarls & doesn’t just glide right through. I’ve also noticed that the more product you have in your hair, the harder it is to get the straightener to go through your hair smoothly. By this I mean things such as dry shampoo, texturizing spray, hairspray, etc., as these things tend to make your hair a little drier, stiffer & more “coarse”, which causes the straightener to want to get “hung up” a little more in the hair. I don’t wash my hair every day, so even though I can use the straightening brush every day if I want to, it just “tugs” a little sometimes if I have a few days of built up product in my hair. Which brings me to a small “complaint”. I wish they had made the very outer perimeter row of bristles on the straightener out of a slightly more flexible or different material. They are a very thin, rigid & somewhat brittle plastic and it doesn’t take a whole lot to make them snap/break off if your hair gets slightly hung up in a tangle in the bristles while straightening! All of the other “bristles” of the straightener are very thick & made of a different material & I don’t see any chance of those breaking off from just the hair getting hung up in a snarl.A suggestion as to “technique” for straightening is to grab a section of hair, hold it out away from your head with your GLOVED hand (pulling it taut) and with the straightener in the other hand, start by coming up on the UNDERSIDE of the hair with the bristles of the straightening brush facing UP, as close to the roots as possible. While still taut, press the hair section down into the bristles with your gloved hand and slide the straightener down through your hair toward the ends. This allows each section of hair to have more contact with the hottest middle part of the brush & straightens it better in my opinion. Repeat with each section all over the head. I don’t really feel like using this straightener in the manner of a regular hairbrush (brushing down on the top side of the hair) is very effective because the hair doesn’t make direct contact with the “plate” of the brush unless you press the hair down between the bristles. I also think the longer your hair is, the easier it is to use. I have layered, slightly below shoulder length hair & it’s fairly easy. However, I would think it might be difficult on really short hair.Another complaint is the positioning of the button used to change the temperature. It’s located on the handle of the straightener, right where you hold it when you’re straightening your hair! So you are constantly hitting it accidentally as you’re using it, which causes it to change temperatures! The unit doesn’t have an off/on switch (you just have to unplug it to turn it off, another pet peeve), so you’re not actually turning it “off” when your hand hits the button, but it’s just super annoying that you keep changing temperatures accidentally, each time you hit it!So yes, it has some cons, but overall I still love it because it smooths out my hair a little more quickly than using my flat iron and it’s great for quicker touch ups when I’m in a hurry! The price was great compared to a lot of other brush straighteners I looked at & the shipping was super fast! Thanks Amazon!

Initially received product and it would not turn on. This was the easiest return (dropped off at kohl, no box or printing needed) and I got the new one within a two days. Used it for straightening my very wavy, frizzy and fine hair mane. I’m a mom of a toddler and need something quick. This did a pretty good job straightening and defrizzing, did not take as long as my straightener, and super easy to use. The end result was good, but it was still a tad frizzy compared to what my straightener could do. I would probably run a straightener through it once quick after if I am going out to dinner or something, but I would highly recommend.

Easy to use, I like the temperature control, straighten hair very easy. Perfect product to brush and straighten hair at the same time. This is definitely a good and great product to have.👍

The pictures uploaded made it look believable to me but you never know. and with my hair I wasn't 100%. then I saw the videos and said why not. Well, you see. I took a shower, washed my hair. let it dry. but some cantu in it. waited another hour so my hair wouldn't be greasy. Heats up fast. and took maybe 10 minutes to do my hair. I've already recommended to others already.I normally don't leave comments or reviews unless i'm that impressed.I am.Con. Power button is in the worse place possible. Right where you grab it. but thats it from me.update. 6/4/21My hair has never been this straight. I also don't use chemicals in my hair anymore. I just use this brush daily. My hair use to break off a lot and daily in bunches. My hair is very thick and not easily manageable but, this brush does it all for my hair. People stop me to comment on my hair often.

The product seems to work alright, although it's not fantastic or anything. And the power button placement is in THE worst possible spot. I change the temperature ALL the time just because I'm holding the brush. It's also incredibly heavy and I smack myself in the head more than I would like to. I'm not sure I would buy another. I don't hate it, but I'm not in love with how it works either.

I have natural thick curly hair and it did straighten it pretty fast. It has no hair burning smell, which is a big plus for me. It heats up well and I love the heating glove and clips it came with. I’m happy with my purchase, the only thing I dislike is the placing of the power button. While using it I accidentally kept pushing it and it would change the heat setting from the highest (which I prefer) to the lowest. I just have to get used to it and try not to press the power button while using it.

I am not returning it because I want to try it more. So far it leaves your hair rough and not completely dry. I understand it's not a hair dryer but atleast straighten the hair properly. Frizz remains in hair and I dont recommend it

You will keep turning it off and on by mistake because the button is placed right smack dab in in the middle of where you need to grip! AggravatingI felt like there are far more efficient flat irons and brushes out there.For some reason I thought I could curl with this also but no, not efficiently at least, a flat iron or heated round brush curls much better.There are other irons and brushes out there that will do a much better and faster job than this item.Do your research and don't waste your money or time on this.

Beautiful color , sleek silicone handle. Love that it has the silicone & metal sides that heat up the sides of the brush) so great for brushing the back of your hair.I have used these types of brushes for a few years now and it’s worth the $. Comes with travel bag too

When I received it I noticed that the box has been opened already I guess it may have been used. So I checked it and I found out I was right! It was easy because you could see easily some hairs had stuck to it. I am very disappointed. I will return it immediately! I don't know if I can trust this kind of seller!
