Thus product is faulty. I recently purchased my second unit to replace thr first one that just stopped working and in less than 2 months the second one also stopped working. The lights starts flickering and stop responding to the remote or the App.

Worked great as a replacement for the controller that died after 5 years. In my case it used the same app so it was a simple transition from old to new and easy to set up the Alexa routines. Much better than trying to replace the entire light strips.

The remote sucks. The app is fine, when it works. The main reason I bought this was to add voice control to my LED lights. That part works. The remote, is so frustrating, I have to remove the battery from time-to-time to get it to work, if I don't want to talk to my system, or sometimes when the system is "not seeing" the controller because of the app.

Good replacement or chance to use leftover lights from a set elsewhere!

They don't tell you it is a IR remote, so line of site or use the wifi. Has a 3rd dogal that is the IR receiver, this not show in the pictures. Works fine just has that one draw back. Update- it worked for 2 weeks and then stopped working unless you unplug it and plug it back in, an then it only last a hour or so. Returning.

wanted to control lights with my phone and amazon echo device. this was very easy to set up and configure.

In a few days it began loosing connection with my router and I had to setup it again every day. In one week it stopped working. I have two more controllers in the same room from different sellers using the same app and router. Installed them one month ago and they are still working fine.

Device will control your rgb led light strips perfectly. I now have a few of these and use them for both 12v and 24v strips. The remote that comes with it is junk and it needs a line of sight to the receiver.. throw that part in the trash! Instead, put it on your wifi and use the "magic home" app on a device like your phone. Once on the network set it up in an Alexa app and set your schedules and colors . Alexa will dim, change the color, etc.

The only nitpick I have is in regards to the app needed to control it over WiFi. It looks like should work with the generic Tuya/SmartLife app, but it doesn't, so, I had to install another app (Magic Home), and the associated Alexa "skill". As for the good points ... everything else. Good WiFi range, flexible setup in the app - to, for example, change the order of the RGB channels. After ordering one to test, I ordered another one, and I will definitely order more in the near future.

I got this for a light strip that came with an IR remote. I only used the app to get it connected to my WiFi. Since then, it has been exclusively controlled by Home Assistant. Works perfectly.

Feels flimsy, but worked well and I had it connected to my smart home the way I wanted. However the WiFi feature stopped working after a few months so I could no longer control it through Google Home or even through the Magic Home app. The remote still worked for awhile but now even that has failed.

Worked for my old lights that gave out, now they are able to turn on and off again.

I wanted my current light strips to support my Google Home in my room, so I replaced my old controller with this and it works perfect almost 2 months later. There's barely any delay and no wifi drops with this. I do wish the app had certain light functions or supported Spotify/Apple Music instead of downloaded music on your phone, but it's still a solid app. I recommend this one 100%.
