Easy install.

Mounted exactly as I thought. I did clean and scuff it up then painted it black to match the rest of the paint. Left the glands alone, didn’t want to risk any leaks from paint buildup. I used prematex clear adhesive and sealant. Used a liberal amount and then cleaned up with paint thinner. We just had 2 solid days of continuous rain and no issues.

I gave this 4 stars because in the product video it appears to have a gasket but it doesn’t have one. I installed it but didn’t use caulk so I guess I’ll wait and see if it leaks. Otherwise easy to install and made well.

I really like this for waterproofing the entry hole into the side of my truck camper. I am putting this on an older camper with uneven metal siding. I am inserting the cables through an old RV cable TV jack hole. It’s on the side of the camper. I will use butyl tape, my heat gun to soften the plastic to mold to the camper skin, and maybe rivets in lieu of the screws where appropriate. I love my electric rivet gun but will work to line this up up with a wood stud. I may drill an additional hole or two for extra adherence. I will run caulking around the edges to make sure no leaks from the uneven surface can occur.I already have one of these on top of my horse trailer I had insulated and used for camping. I have two 100 watt solar panels on top to feed the batteries and a 1500 watt inverter. This unit help assure me that at least one of the many holes from the panels in the roof would be secure from leaks. The prior experience with that successful install gave me the confidence to add this feature to my camper solar installation.

This product is easy to use, with an intuitive installation. Seals out water perfectly, when installed properly, while maintaining a protected pass through point for the solar cables.

Just as subscribed. Used it can to join two cables into one entry hole on top of my camper. Looks like a professional did the work 😊.

Bought this for a project and never used it. Kept it anyway for future use. Very well made.
