Skate GearRetro Quad Design Roller Skates

The media could not be loaded.  I am using the product to help me get to college every day so I don't have to spend $75.00 every month for the metro. I like the product it fits well, the rollers are nice and sturdy the material of the product is nice no rip's or tears. I don't like how there's not a safer secured stop gripper on them though I'll have to see if I can find something for that because I'll be Skating down the street on sidewalks. I'm pretty sure the seller doesn't want report's on accident's so please be mindful of products and customer's.

I got these for my 10 yr old nieces birthday and she wore them seemingly for DAYS. She loved them so I can only assume they were comfortable and great!

I read so many reviews of outdoor/indoor skates that my head was spinning. I wanted to find a pair of skates that would work on the common outdoor surfaces. Most people were using them indoors or on very smooth pavement at skate parks. I am cheap and I want to use them on the roads/sidewalks in my neighborhood that are "free". After much searching, I decided to order these due to the review video that showed them being used outside on traditional sidewalks and because they were one of the few that was true Prime delivery.When they arrived I was happy that at 52, I could still skate a little without falling down. However, what I remembered from childhood, the smooth, swish, swish of my skates was not what was happening. These skates would hardly roll and I was working harder than I remember to move forward. After going around the block in them, half-mile, and reading more about skates, I decided that the answer to the problem was new wheels. However, the wheels cost more than the skates. So, I searched Amazon more and finally found the perfect pair. I set up the return of these and ordered the new pair. A few hours later, I realized the "new" pair was just another pair of these. Well, I had to admit, if these skates were so perfect in the description, how come they were not perfect in reality? So, back to the internet, I went.I found out that I needed to loosen the wheels! When I sat down and just used my finger to spin each wheel, most of them were tight but ALL were tightened differently. So, there was my explanation of why these were so perfect in the description but were not when I used them. The wheels were not spinning and the few that did could not do it alone. So, I grabbed a wrench. Tighten them all down the same and then, proceeded to loosen them all to the point that when I counted to 1008, the wheel was still spinning a little. Now, these skates are actually moving me and I am enjoying the experience.I did not give them 5 stars because even though they are great, I would have liked a bit more cushion on the tongue and that it came all the way to the top. I cannot strap the stake in the last clasp because the tongue will cut into my leg. A bit of cushioning would help a lot. The same for the insert, more cushioning would be better.However, these skates deserve 4 stars because they are absolutely great outdoors if you take the time to check the wheels when you receive them and then adjust so that they are all rolling freely.

When you order you need to go up a size or two. They run really small. I ordered 3 pairs and one came on time. It was a kids 5 that looks more like a 3. So now i need to return, reorder snd hope they fit. Im upset because the other 2 pair. Size 6. Are too small too snd not suppose to arrive until. Dec 23 but was in stick when ordered. Im a little distressed about this because it s also there birthday on Christmas! I was moving early these were ordered 12/9

People mentioned the wheels being 'hard plastic'. I wasn't sure what to look for, but I did get a pair of Impala's to compare and then could definitely see the difference. Honestly, I decided against these for 3 reasons: 1. the trucks are plastic instead of metal. 2. the padding was different and not as comfortable. 3. I paid the same price for the name brand that was on sale.

Hard to figure out the size but great skates! Thankfully I ordered them a little bit big. They look awesome and my daughter loves them!

These wheels are sooo sooo slick. I went to the rink and nearly fell because of how slick they were. Def break them in before you go, meaning skate on concrete for a white first so that they won't be as slick. Also, if you're use to collarbones wheels or wheels that come on the Chicago skates, be careful. The wheels are a little different from them

Fast shipping...order 1 size down from your reg size. I'm a size 7 ..ordered size 6 with still wiggle room. I cant wait to learn to skate!...lol

There nice skates just the wheels should be a little bigger and the leather should be maybe a little thicker but overall there nice skates
