A work of art
This is a wonderful game. Don't be put off by the smaller box or lower cost than original Mysterium - this is all about getting lost in the pictures, which are beautifully painted and printed on large, high quality cards. The simple and effective board and playing pieces are all else you need, and the quick set up time is a bonus. The character and location cards are presented in a slightly steampunk style, or at least highly reminiscent of the Victorian carnival era. These are laid out on the game board. The ghost's vision cards are really quite surreal and, importantly to the game, allow both logic and imagimation to wander in all directions as players try to interpret them.In terms of gameplay the true genius of Mysterium Park is that only one person - the ghost - needs to know how to play it. The others can just go along for the ride! For anyone who has tried explaining the rules of a game to distracted family members or visiting friends, perhaps a little too late in the evening, this is a game changer...

Great game, simpler than the original game (and better for it)
We bought this for a friend’s birthday and we played it with them recently. Easy to learn (after the first game), challenging and fun, and not too long. Worked really well as a 4-player. I preferred it to the original, it is easier to get going and less pieces - but actually the better for it.You can see it is from the makers of Dixit - same great artwork, and the guessing is a similar gameplay to that game (giving hints based on the pictures). Great game, and if you like Dixit, you’d like this

Mysterium park
Amazing artwork, enjoyed the gameplay, it really makes you think outside the box with the links that need to be made to find who dunit and where.

Beautiful, quick to setup & play, unique
Beautifully illustrated game with a great horror aesthetic. Unlike so many other games, which can be long or complex to setup - detracting from the fun of the game itself - this is easy to learn and gets going quickly, with a game taking about 20-30 mins. The artwork is brilliant, and using interpretation to solve the mystery is a really unique idea (certainly not one I've come across before). I should also add that all the components of the game - from the box to the cards and counters - are really great quality. Impressed.

Fantastic Game
This is a great game. Similar to mysterium just missing weapons. I love the artwork on the cards and the carnival theme. We often take this one away on holiday to play as mysterium is too big. We find it works fine with two players but also works well with more. Would definitely recommend!

Streamlining a Modern Classic
The original Mysterium was an exciting and creative new take on traditional Murder Mystery board games. Mysterium Park streamlines the rules and packs everything into a much smaller box. A new setting of a creepy circus and sideshows with a colourful cast of characters - the same rich artwork you would expect from a Libellud title.

Beautiful and Hard
Relatively easy to understand and to set up, and the artwork is absolutely amazing. Picked this over the other Mysterium game as this looked easier to understand. Winning the game is hard - are you really in tune with the people around you. But really enjoy playing it!!

Not as good as original
Liked the fact this was a simpler version, but found the cards all very similar. All quite cartoony. As a family we prefer the original.
