I got this for my 2008 350Z with just under 98,000 miles on it. First, the passenger window motor died, but I was able to put it into the up position and just leave it there, then a couple of years later, the driver-side window motor died and it locked up to where it was about 3 inches down and I could not put it back into the up position and some neighborhood cat decided to have her litter of kittens in my car ... well that was enough for me, I bought two motors and watched a few videos on youtube (just search Nissan 350Z window motor replacement). Perhaps the best video I saw was of a young man who worked for a professional shop. His video was well done but when it comes to the tools you need, I think he might have been a bit too thorough. You will absolutely need a 10mm socket and a 12mm socket and you should have deep sockets and an extension because some of the hex head screws are really deep, especially the one at the open lever. The plastic parts just kind of pop out but using a flat-head screwdriver to pop them at their fastening points (see the videos) makes that part really easy. What also helped me was using my cordless reversible drill. I would loosen the screws manually with the ratchet then after I broke them loose (this includes the Philips head screws) I would finish removing them with the drill. Then when I put things back together, I put the torque setting on the drill low and after everything was tightened with the drill, I used the ratchet to manually tighten them the rest of the way so that I didn't over-tighten them. It's not important to crank down hard on the screws except the ones that hold the motor in, you can go to town on those because the factory torques them down A LOT! After having no window control for some time, it was REALLY NICE to have the functionality back and it wasn't too difficult of a job to do.

Has a good fit and functions the way it should, quality was close to oem. As easy to install as a factory part.

Replaced this after some YouTube videos. There are no instructions included but, the functionality and motor strength matched the dead motor exactly with good attachment lugs. Unsure about longevity since I've only had it installed for a year but, it works flawlessly so far. Can't beat the price vs. OEM for DIY-ers!

1) Product that was delivered - DID NOT - have the reset switch as well as secure boot for frame enclosure. I gave the benefit of doubt and went ahead to install. 2) Upon installing, the motor does work correctly but the auto-up function does not. Everytime you close the door, once the window tried to close itself against the seam it auto detects blockage and winds itself all the way down. This is a big hazard if you are parking in public. Considering the functionality was only half of OEM, the pricing seems okay at the best - I will be returning this and ordering something better.

Super easy to install took me 20 mins So much cheaper then the oem part which is hard to find due to age. Recommend to anyone that is looking for a smooth motor! Fits great. So far have used it 3 months. Great quality!

Comes with instructions. Simple process. 1-2 hours of your time to install. I’ve had mine for over 2 weeks and they work like oem.

PLEASE READ After you install but before you put everything back together check everything. It seems the wire section between the gromet and motor hits the window while going up and down. Snip the zip tip holding the gromet and move it 1 inch closer to motor and reziptie it. This will fix it
