Pyramex S1015 Polythylene Aluminum Bound PETG Face Shield - Shield Only

This listing is misleading. The only picture shows the faceshield and headgear together. In the listing it separates the faceshield and visor with a comma... Leading to the misconception of two different items. The only place it says the head gear isn't included, is the last line of the product description; I went back to search for it because I thought they made a mistake. This same faceshield (alone) is listed on other sites for $6. Don't make the same mistake as me thinking this is a complete faceshield for the price.

Not to happy because the description reads Pyramex Safety Full Face Shield Eye & Head Protection. Does't say you have to buy two parts on the line you see in the sales ad.As most people I see something read the first line and buy it. I am busy. I just think they need to change the wording of the first line. Espcially since after the first line it states (Headgear Not Included), I mean which is it. It is the full product or just a part of it.

I have a TR Industrial hard hat and couldn't find a replacement for screen at Lowe's or Home Depot. I ordered this on faith. I thought if nothing else I might be able to make it fit. It went right on like it was designed for that brand. My ONLY complain is the USP service made the delivery and my carrier folded it making a crease. At first it appears to be a crack in the plastic at the bottom. I've finally gotten it straight enough to use but I hate USPS. My carrier has a chip on her shoulder. Poor thing pray for her. The trick to installing the screen is knowing those plastic locks swing both sides. If it doesn't fit just open the lock 180 degrees and try again. This screen is a bit shorter than the original. I've had a wood chip get under and hit my left eye. Clear safety glasses beneath the screen is advisable. This review is detailed. To many reviews have no information. To say, It works, or I like it is NOT a review. Guys, open up. Tell us What and Why. Men have a huge lack of communication skills. Your lady might appreciate it if you actually learn to talk instead of grunting and pointing. Most reviews are disappointing. Bones with no meat. Thanks

In one word "JUNK".... Its advertised as being meta constructionl, but the one I recieved is of plastic all the way around. I recieved it in a yellow envelope that was opened and the item was twisted. I have tried to mold it back to what it should be but the plastic always goes back to the same twisted and damaged state it came in. I usually do not like it write negative reviews but considering I have to pay more in shipping than what it's worth to return it to the seller and on top of it all make sure its package correctly so it not damaged when it reaches its destination, when I already received it damaged in a opened package. Crazy... So it's more cost effective just to keep it or trash it along with the Pyramex Hard Hat Adapter which is another piece of plastic "JUNK". Worthless items these 2 items, save your money and do not buy. It does 't deserve one 1 star but there is no option for no stars and you have input something for review to go through.

After I received this, I realized I should have read the description more closely. It was only the lens, and did not include the head gear. So I ordered the head gear, (Pyrames HGBR Ridgeline Heargear with Ratchet). Both items were shipped immediately and arrived within a few days. Once I figured out how to attach the lens to the head gear, I was very much impressed with the quality and fit of the entire setup. The lens is extremely clear and the curvature gives you plenty of breathing room. The head gear has adjustments in virtually every direction. You can adjust the distance the lens is from you face, how high or low the entire rig sits on your head, etc. There is even a 3 position adjustment to set how far down the lens swings. If the lens holds up to sparks and grinding dust (which I expect it will), this will turn out to be a real bargain. My only "complaint" is that the listing should boldly display the fact that the head gear is not included. I say this not because I think they are trying to be deceptive, but because it would be nice to have known this so that I could have ordered the head gear at the same time.

The advertising of this product could be more clear. When I purchased it i thought the headgear and screened shield was all one unit. Shame on me for not reading into the description. This is the shield only! Fortunately, I have headgear with a clear face shield from Harbor Freight that this mesh screen fits perfectly. I won't take off stars for my oversight. It's a good enough deal for the screen only, I guess.

This face shield fits the Pyramex Black Full Brim Hard Hat Adapter  Pyramex Black Full Brim Hard Hat Adapter  which then fits to the Skull Bucket aluminum hard hat. The face shield is metal with a plastic rim. The rim has holes that fit the pins and swivel clamps on the adapter to hold it on. There are multiple products available and sizes may vary, but the combination I listed all fits together correctly. The mesh keeps the wood chips from hitting you in the face when sawing, but you still need safety glasses to stop the dust.This product is only the mesh shield. The hat and adapter shown in the picture are not included.

Its fine, the picture shows headgear that is not included, but it only specifies this in the fine print a few lines down. Deceiving based on the picture.

Ojo! Es el puro acrílico, pero esto lo vi al leer bien lo que decía en la descripción. Lo quería para un proyecto y es justamente lo que necesitaba, ojas de acrílico certificadas en ANSI Z87 y esta mica lo cumple a la perfección!
