I have a similar tool, but it is made to be used with a pocket type pair of pliers that grip the shaft of the tool. This one is nice, that a socket or drill can be used to drive the socket. I've used the one I have and it can be very useful for unusually shaped fasteners or worn nuts/bolts. Excellent gift.

This universal socket is very cool. You can use it simply because it’s more convenient than digging through a zillion sockets or because you can’t even find the right socket. In my pictures I put the socket on my ratchet and stuck a large blue screw in it. This would work perfectly if I needed slowly applied torque to turn the screw rather than the torque provided by a power drill. Of course the same principle applies to bolts as well. This is a gift for my son, and I’m sure he’ll like it. I do.

This product is not just a man’s gift. Man or woman, if you own a ratchet wrench then you need this socket in your tool box. I am a woman, I love my tools. I’m the one that usually does the home projects in my or my daughters house and for lots of friends too. Hooks are the worst, coffe cup hooks, plant hangers etc are all the easiest things to install now. My granddaughters had bunk beds and wanted their privacy from each other with curtain dividers. The lower bunk was easy, the upper one not so easy. I had to put eye bolts all around the bed on the ceiling to put curtain rods thru. What a pain in the butt, getting the holes started and then finishing by running a screwdriver thru the holes to twist them in. If I had this socket at the time, it pretty much would have been mark and install. I can see this being used often in my future projects. I bought 5, one for me, one for my son and the other 3 to make absolutely sure, I always have one….. just in case

I bought this myself to have in my work bench. Hubby had to show me how to use it. I am forevermore asking him for some kind of tool so now I will not have to.I am anxious to have a reason to use it.Arrived in good shape. Reasonably priced.I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Every time I go to use this, I can't use it because if the nut has to go down the bolt and the bolt sticks up, this then hits the bolt and will not put the nut on.

Bought as gifts and both were so excited to receive this!

The socket’s depth of grab onto a nut or whatever is only 1/4 inch.

Looks great but bought as a stocking filler so haven't tried

Schon seit langem hab ich diese Art von universal Aufsätzen im Blick. Erstmals habe ich in einer Dauerwerbesendung im Fernsehen davon gehört aber eine Sendung die einem eine halbe Std lang sagt Zitat: Wenn Sie jetzt gleich anrufen erhalten Sie nicht nur ein Wunderwerkzeug sondern gleich zwei und dass ist noch nicht genug! " wer kennt das nicht ;) ist eben nicht besonders Vertrauen erweckend.Nun wurde mir diese Universalaufsatz am Primeday angezeigt und ich konnte nicht zuletzt auch wegen der 25% Rabatt nicht wiederstehen mir einen zu bestellen.Lieferung:Die Lieferung erfolgte wie gewohnt zügig am nächsten Werktag durch Amazon.Die Verpackung ist eine kleine schlichte aber stabile schwarze Kartonbox mit einem Schaumstofffutter darin. Ich finde diese Box recht praktisch und habe mich entschieden diese zur Aufbewahrung des Aufsatzes zu behalten.Produkteigenschaften:Der Aufsatz selbst ist einfach und Robust. Vergleichbar ist er mit dem "Nuss-Aufsatz" einer Ratsche sowohl was Größe und Gewicht angeht. Mit dabei ist eine abnehmbarer Einstecker mit einer Aufnahme für den Akkuschrauber. Somit kann man sowohl einen Akkuschrauber oder aber einen normale kleine Ratsche für den Aufsatz verwenden.
