This hanging bar is BEAUTIFUL!! Very sturdy and super duper easy to "assemble" if you can even call it that. It literally just slides through the two stainless steel hooks. DONE. no assembly. It is is incredibly sturdy, with steel rods and a solid WOOD bar. This thing will not bend, I am positive it will last over time! I might get creative and explore my kinky wild side with this thing......but I digress....... It is now living happily amongst my closet housing 6 pairs of boots (as it was designed for lol).EXACT SIZE DIMENSIONS: HANGING LENGTH (of steel hooks from top of curve to bottom of wood rod once assembled) 34 inches WOODEN ROD LENGTH: 28.5 inches of USEABLE SPACE. (there is a tiny bit on each side beyond that but you can't hang anything there)AHHHHH happy organizational endorphins coursing through my being....

My leasor said they would put another clothes rung in, but it wasn't happening. Bingo - I saw this double rung, and it is absolutely perfect. In fact, I bought another one for the other side of the closet. Now, I can put double the amount of clothing. Seem sturdy so far (after 2 months). No more asking - No need for carpentry work so if in a rental, you can still have dual rows of clothes.

I used this product with the Somgmics 10 Tier Shoe Organizer. The assembly is SUPER simple (as was the organizer). Within a short time I had doubled my space in my closet, got everything off the floor, and emptied 2/3 of the space on the top shelf. This bar is good for shirts/blouses and slacks. You could also use it for jackets. The space you get is not for longer clothes, such as dresses and coats. It would also be terrific for a kids closet. The construction is very sturdy being entirely of metal and wood. If hanging from a wooden bar, be sure to measure your bar width to make sure it will hang easily. Mine is a standard size bar and fit with no problems at all.

Update: it’s now Nov. 2019 and I still have/use this closet rod in my kiddo’s closet! Fab product!I wish I could post a photo. For some reason the submit photo tab is missing. Anyway, this is an ideal product if you have a growing & independent toddler. I now have all of my toddler's clothes for this season within easy reach so she can choose what outfit she wants to wear that day. The out-of-season clothes hang above. This little gem has created more space in the closet and has made my toddler feel more like a big kid. It was the perfect time for me to buy this product. Simple to assemble - about 10 seconds. I would buy this product again without hesitation.

This is just perfect. I thought to myself, "I wish there was a way I could have another row to hang my clothes on and there it is! I live in an apartment so it wasn't like I could just install another level. I bought two of these since my closet is wide. It comes in 3 pieces- one wooden rod and two metal poles. The metal poles have a ball at one end and a hook on the other. You put the hooks through the wooden rod and the ball end keeps it from sliding off. The is a simple product that solves a problem and I am really grateful that someone made this thing exist- and for so inexpensive!

This amazing product has lasted me 7 years and it has performed beyond expectation. Absolutely sturdy design and looks great in my closet. Unfortunately, I’m moving my IKEA Malm dresser into the closet and this is too wide. I have nothing but time during this lockdown, so maybe I’m going a little crazy organizing ;) This was only $12 bucks back then, my how time flies.

These didn’t fit in my closet to hang additional clothes. They hung down too far even after adjustments for the heights of the closet.

I had no problem utilizing this. Extremely easy to assemble. Out of box and hanging in closet within minutes. It has worked perfectly for me. I am using it for a younger child's clothing. However there is no way mine or my husband's clothing would fit on the bottom rod without dragging on the floor. I believe we have average height closets, as our house isn't that old. The poles are not adjustable, so definitely measure if using for adult clothing.

I bought this to help organize my unending amounts of clothes. It works well. It is sturdy enough to hold most of my jeans. I was not interested in drilling to hang a lower rod in my closet, so this is the perfect solution. It took 30 seconds to put it together. I might buy a second one for my closet, and I would recommend it to anyone.

It will double the capacity of the closet without any complex work. Just hang it onto the original rob! That's all! It's built to last. I may use it for many many years. Recommended!

This worked perfectly to separate tops from pants. Just one adjustment needed...a furniture sticky pad to stop it from hitting/marking the wall as the closet is small.

Easy quick assembly. Packaged pretty decent. Made sure to measure the height for my existing rod to see how it fit - fit perfectly. I am definitely not planning to hang heavy items on it as it is not a study rod. Remember to check maximum weight so you don’t break it.

I got these to make dressing easy and independent for my little ones. Very happy with the quality. I think these will last years!
