COOKPAD 12" Portable Induction Cooktop,1500W Countertop Burner,Electric Plate with LED Display,Black Cooker

I bought this to get a feel of an induction cooktop since my electric cooktop had the coils slowing dying. Unable to get the replacement, I decided to try induction. This is an absolutely amazing portable induction cooktop. I have cooked everything from Crepes, Veggies, Noodles, Curries, Roti etc. The fact that I can have my Chai done in less than 1/2 the time it took on Gas or Electric, is amazing. Highly recommend this product.

I use this in my RV and it works great. You can either adjust temperature by heat or by wattage which is awesome if you don't want to draw too much battery at once or just want to be able to easily calculate how much power a meal is going to take to make. Minor complaints below:- Plastic footpads slide around a lot in the back of the RV. Easy enough to add rubber ones,- 'Safety feature' of having to hold the power button for 2 seconds is annoying. I've bumped it on accident several times and turned the unit off mid-meal prep.

I'd give it 5 stars if the cooling fan was quieter. 800 watts is perfect for frying eggs! Amazing energy savings.

I now understand why people use induction products.Not only does the product Have temperature controls and respectable heat output, it is also super easy to clean.

We were very hesitant to buy a hot plate. MyMom lives upstairs and still needs her independence. This one had the safety features that put us at ease a little. She is loving it. She says it’s really easy to use , the safety features actually work. She thanks meOften for this item.

The unit is only 1500 W. I was looking for a 2000 W cooktop and was dumb enough to believe the description. This is a total waste of time and I had to send it back.
