It's BEEFy
Dude it's so awkward to use it kinda fun to think in reverse. Smoke a fatty and go back to 8th grade metal shop. If you drop that bar , yes man it's a chunk of milled steal , bye bye toes it's bad ass . Oh yeah the C clamps don't come with it. There are some cool tubers that tweak it. It's pretty bad ass ,if you hate it build a tuber forge and make a huge sword out of the premo metal.

Useful product with an unfortunate name.
My brake arrived with a small warp in the length. It wasn't too bad, and after mounting to a 2x4, and then clamping that to a solid workbench, the warp wasn't even noticeable. My big wish would be that the handles actually threaded into the blade pivots - they don't, and mine at least, are wobbly and prone to slide out. The instructions are unclear and minimal at least - you had better have a basic understanding of mechanics to make this work. But all in all, this is a great tool for the price (I got it cheaper than the current list price because dumb luck). It is solidly built and folds square angles. It came packed in a ton of grease. It's great for the hobbyist or occasional DIYer. And if you don't want to mount it to your bench, it's small enough to squirrel away and only pull out when you need it.

Broke on first use - arrived late, to boot ...
First off, it arrived late, which caused me all kinds of problems with delaying a client order. Secondly, on first use, the weld seam broke that holds the right handle on, rendering it useless. Complete waste of time and money, sadly. I was prepared for a fight if for some reason I could not return the problem but Amazon immediately allowed the return, for which I am grateful. Save your money.

$50 bender not bad with some modifications
Very good for the money $60-70. With that said I wouldn't spend anymore then that for this.I had to reinforce in 2 spots due to flex while bending longer 20" pieces. I had to tig weld the annoying handles in because they have small set screws that work out. And it's impossible to know your angle without completely pulling the work piece out of the bender to measure.Shipping was super poor and came styrofoam inside of a box. This is way to heavy for this packaging method and completely fell apart by the time it got to my door. The one handle mount was bent during shipping but still seams ok for what I'll be bending.Again this is a 30" metal break for cheap. It's not for precise work and don't expect a perfect part after bending! It bows while bending long pieces and have to rubber mallet then straight.I'm a small fabrication shop and can't afford a better unit right now and grateful I have what I have for the price I paid.

Difficult to tighten
The metal brake came in a destroyed box and I was worried not all the pieces arrived. They did though so that was good. I had 18 gage metal that I needed to bend. I was not able to get the top plate to tighten enough to bend the metal without the entire plate shifting. I struggled to bend just one side of a planned 4 sided bend project. In frustration it is now sitting in my garage and soon will be going to a swap meet as I will never use it again.

How to make my designs
I needed a smaller version of the sheet metal bending tool to fit in my small workshop and this isn’t all I wanted but it works well enough so I can make what I need from the designs I have.I had to use my own clamps and I learned fast enough where they needed to be to be the most effective. The size, durability and design of it are meeting 95 percent of my expectations and needs.
