Black Diamond Unisex's SPOT 350 HEADLAMP Outdoor Head Torch, Dark Olive, Uni

Out of all the Black Diamond headlamps this one has the best combination of brightness, weight, battery life, overall usability. Lightweight, only needs that one battery, got me safely to my hunting area in the pre-dawn hours in variable steep mountainous terrain. I trusted this headlamp with my life and it did not disappoint. The Spot 350 is an impressive product for a great price and is highly-recommended. Get one and you'll see! :)

I bought Petzl Tikka many years ago (early adopter), it was great but the frame cracked, still works. I bought another to replace it, it was great, but the frame cracked in the same way (no, it was never dropped or crushed or otherwise abused). I had heard some good things about Black Diamond, did some research and bought one - it is great! It does so much more (broad white light, spotlight, and red light - all with variable brightness) and is well built, seems very durable. I tend to use it frequently just around the house - red light to check doors at night, white light for home repair lighting (under the sink for example, or in the attic).

The dimming function is the best I’ve ever seen. You can adjust the brightness across a large spectrum and fairly easy to use. It can also be super bright if that’s what you’re after, but I use mine for being able to illuminate my immediate area without bothering everyone around me. If you’re looking for a spotlight there are other more powerful options. Excellent battery life and highly recommended.

Bought 2 for family a few years back after a fair amount of research. The family loved them so I decided I needed one for myself. Battery lasts for ever and it’s more than bright enough. Plan on getting 3 more for other family members.

This light is great for projects, getting firewood at night etc.

I help run a boy scout troop. My son, a National Forest firefighter, told me about this brand. I want love this headlamp, but it has been a disappointment given the price, especially trying to get warranty service. I used this headlamp a handful of times before it quit. This unit is adult owned. It never got wet and was never abused. I am trying to get a replacement under warranty [Case 6314QIELW] since May 7, 2023. I was told via email on June 7, 2023 that a replacement is coming. I have emailed for a status update three times with no response. Alas, as of July 24, 2023 – no response. Likes: nice patented battery indicator on the side. Dislikes: battery compartment materials, especially the contacts, could be made with better materials for the price. Update August 2, 2023 After Nine Weeks with No Response or Shipping Notification, I received the Replacement Headlamp. Gratuitous Feedback to Warranty Service – Keep your customers informed of status and answer emails to avoid bad reviews.

Comfortable band, not any heavier than any other comparable headlamps. Favorite features include; the battery level indicator, the button lock-out, and the convenient shape for packing (vs. some of the competitors bulbous lamps that are akward to pack in an organizer.)Least favored feature is the "tap" function that turns it on full blast...accidentally bumping this from "red mode" is definitely a surprise.

I've used a lot of cheap headlamps before. I bought this one because I wanted to see what a better one was like. I wasn't disappointed. The light is bright, it is easy to use and comfortable to wear. I chose one that take isn't rechargeable as I am usually beyond the reach of the power grid when I'm using this light. Carrying 3 AAA batteries is light and convenient. The headlamp gets a long life from a set of batteries and I have been very happy with it. The battery life indicator lights up each time you turn it off so it's easy to tell when you need new batteries. Good product.

Lampe frontale vraiment ttes puissante et tres simple d'utilisation. 3 modes de lumieres. Plein phare ou là on voit mais vraiment tres tres loin. On voit tres bien a 300m. Un mode moins fort pour pas eblouir et un mode lumiere rouge, pour signaler une detresse. La sangle pour la tete est tres confort, le boitier de la lampe n'est pas tres gros et est orientable vers le bas. Je m'en sert pour surveiller mes chiens le soir pour les besoins dans un terrain d'un hectar

finalmente una black diamond di una certa potenza e leggera; i modelli performanti precedenti, rispetto es. alle Petzl, avevano quella batteria in più che vi garantisco in testa si sente; adesso le ben note qualità di black diamond, impermeabilità vera, lumen autentici, sono insieme ad un prodotto leggero, compatto e di facilissimo utilizzo, senza "ingorghi di dita in testa" per trovare la funzione corretta. La funzione dimmer è un plus, così come il tocco singolo a lato per la potenza massima. La consiglio sicuramente, mi permetto di dare un ulteriore consiglio, batterie al litio o ricaricabili, consuma nella media, ma se fa freddo le alcaline hanno vita corta.

Nice little headlamp. Bit heavy on batteries but great range of brightness/beam/diffusion. Also quite heavy for its size, but fine when you get used to it. I like it a lot and would recommend.
