I did not expect to love this as much as I do. It’s bigger than I thought it would be, and the second it hits the water it just goes — no buttons, no switches, it just starts swimming around on its own. It’s giving major “wait, how is this even working?” vibes and my kid is obsessed. We’ve used it in the bath and out in the pool, and it’s been a hit every single time. She even bit the tail (sensory girl) and there aren’t any sharp edges or tiny parts, so totally safe. It feels sturdier than most toys like this, and after a bunch of uses it’s still going strong. Battery life IS WAY better than I expected. And honestly, this would be such a cute gift to bring as an ice breaker to a toddler's pool party or a first play date at the pool. I promise this is something you'll actually be able to chat with the parent while giving yourselves a hot 10-15 mins of peace to catch up. This is a super high value gift for a birthday without breaking the bank. It's niche and surprisingly impressive. I'm going to buy more.

This Robo Alive Junior fish is a hit with my little one! The moment we put it in the bathtub, it started swimming around just like a real fish—so cute and entertaining.
