Great tools and a Great price......
I must of bought a dozen different sets of pliers over the years and this is one of the best by far.......especially for the price. I have been using them on a daily basis for a little over a year and they show no sign of wear or failure. I was surprised how well machined they were.....makes for easy cutting and a good grip. They are all a bit bigger than what you might normally find at the hardware store, especially with the rubber grips....but I like that, and the only people I could see complaining about it are the ones who try to carry an entire tool chest around in their apron. Im thinking about getting a couple more sets just to have some around the house as well as at work......

Great set of pliers on a budget.
These are an excellent heavy duty set of pliers. They have no play in the hinges yet move easily without sticking. The handles are great so far and haven't slipped or tried to fall off. They are also easy to with or without gloves. The side cutters and needle nose are my most used and work great. The side cutters cut 12 gauge residential wiring easily and twisted copper wire without leaving uncut strands. The needlenose are great little grippers. This is a very cook set of pliers for the money and I definitely recommend them.

Good at grabbing things
Very good set of personal pliers. If you are a day to day tinker or a Sunday honey due list filler these are a great set of tools that should last you a long time. They are not professional tools but they do not carry that price tag either. These are a solid set of pliers that will get a lot of what you need done around the house done. The pliers are coated with a clear rust inhibitor how long that last I don't know but if you don't bang your tools around too much it should help them stay rust free for a while. The open and close action on all mine were smooth and easy with no catch. The ergonomics were good for me as well and just to note I have a medium size hand.

Quality set that feels heavy and as made it through 10 months of house remodeling
I'm rewiring my 1892 house and this set has been SO nice to work with. The linesman pliers are the work horse of the bunch, but I've used them all to rip out and replace my first floor wiring. They are all solid and feel heavy and the grip on them has stayed on after 10 months of weekly use.If I lost these, I would definitely buy the same pack again.

Stanley does good work.
In rating an Amazon purchased screwdriver I said that it wasn't an item most people could love (unless burdened by the rare screwdriver fetish), like, or hate. I pretty much feel the same way about pliers, but this set appears well made, and I like having them around. I used two recently to open a small plastic container -- that says more about my haplessness than it does the pliers and doesn't add much about the quality of these tools. But I did finally get the carton open with their help.

Either I'm Shrinking or Hand Tools are Getting Larger
These are more like garden implements than hand tools. Interestingly, they don't say "China" on the tools, but on the box, by the way, which needs a tool to open. I think the container was designed by someone who wanted you to buy even larger tools so that you could open this box. These tools would be difficult to manage, even with the girl who had "Man Hands," on the Seinfeld show. I don't think that these monsters are actually good for anything other than fascination, perhaps "Awe and Rapture" - as something far beyond that capable of mortal men. After wrestling with these brutes for half an hour, they lay on my bed for the duration of "Leave it to Beaver (I have Net Flix), creating a depression in the mattress worthy of a bowling ball. I finally put them in my tool cabinet, where they shall rest peacefully until I need a repairman, where they will continue to rest for an even longer time. For the $12 or so (40,000 Yen), I paid for them, they are a monument to decoration and curiosity, which I think, is the essential purpose of Man's life on planet earth.

can't beat it
You know, I saw other reviews that critiqued these pliers about it not being really hard metal. I'm night really sure how to measure how hard you're metal is, but these are great pliers! I own most tools imaginable, and like to buy quality everything, and these pliers are just plain good Stanley quality, period. You can go to Lowe's or HD and pay $19.99 for a 2-pk, or you can get all 4 for 25,right here at good ole Amazon

Good Quality
The Stanley 4-Piece Pliers Set is a really good deal and the quality isn't that bad either. Good for around the house and whatever else you can think of to do lol. Stanley is a good product and by no means craftsman or snap-on but nobody is claiming that. If you need them buy them...you won't regret it. I would definitely recommend and buy again if needed.
