Easy to install and great at keeping the daylight out.

Exactly what I was looking for! Wanted full privacy without sacrificing light but not too much light inside. I spent a week looking around and took a chance on this one and I couldn't be happier :) it was pretty easy to apply overall but it was a little difficult to peel the backing at times and to cut so have patience and apply a generous amount of water when placing. I used a squeegee I already had to get out any air bubbles. This is a large window so I used 2 smaller rolls for the side windows and one wide and long roll I cut in half to do the middle section. I had a little leftover on all but would only be good for a very small area. It took maybe 40 minutes including prep work. Highly recommend so far!In the photos I took a variation of day and night views from inside and outside views as well as the inside lights on and off (with the exceptionof the tv light). I left some bottles on the window sill too to gage the transparency.. hope this helps :)

So I bought this product a year ago for my bathroom window. I had no problem with removing backing and making it stick with minimal bubbles. I had a bunch left over so I stored it. One year later...it was impossible to remove the backing. I tried rolling the corner and pullin apart with painters tape and duct tape and prying it apart with tweezers. No luck. I finally found the answer through many trial and errors. Duct tape is the answer...though not how I originally thought. Ball up a piece of duct tape and stick it to the corner of the smooth side...that's your anchor to hold onto. Take a piece of flat duct tape and tap and pull on the "granular" side. You may need to get a few pieces of fresh sticky tape. Tape sticks a lot to the textured side which is why you want this to be the quick dab and pull. Keep dabbing and pulling until it separates (a corner).

I bought this window covering for my master bedroom window. I like my room to be pitch black and very cool. I had one of those paper fans in the window to cover it. You could feel the heat coming through, and no light was filtered. I really like this window covering because it shows white on the outside but black on the inside. This is essential to keep the heat and the light from coming in through the window. My room already feels so much cooler and there is not one speck of light coming through that window anymore. I did have some difficulty applying it to the window, but I think that was my issue. The window is a half circle and it was difficult for me to cut the half circle window that high up towards the ceiling. The product itself is great though. I easily cut it with a ruler and an X-Acto knife. I sprayed some window cling solution on the window and then squeegeed it out. The covering has not moved since it was applied. Very happy with this product just don’t look at my cut job! Lol.

The only issue I had with this is my own user error. The sun is properly blocked out. This is definitely a blackout shade. The color is a dark black.I put this on my son’s window above the window AC unit and I was worried about any condensation making it stick less. The product did not curl up or come off and it’s been about two months. I’d recommend this.

The first roll I got you couldn’t feel it apart to put it on the windows so they went ahead and sent me a second role when I didn’t even ask for it and then when I sent them both back, they still haven’t refunded my money I sent it back over two weeks ago. They said they received it and they haven’t sent my money back. Do not order from this company. I have a feeling they think I’m gonna forget that they owe me $50 beware do not order from this company, they are not reputable.

I tried and tried and tried to find real window film on amazon, and every single one is static cling. This cling effect is so weak the film will move around with the slightest touch. You will literally have more adhesion by wetting a sheet of paper and laying it onto the window. If you point a fan at the edge it'll tear it right off the glass.The selling point of it being "reusable" is the silliest thing imaginable. It's too time consuming to install to be temporary, and it's too temporary to be worth installing. This product has no real world use imo.Unless you know that this is exactly what you want, a very temporary cling, do not buy this. This is not a permanent solution in your home for privacy.

These come at a great height if you want to cover just part of your window for privacy. I recommend using a plastic card to smooth out any air bubble and a box cutter or x-acto knife to cut off clean edges.

Used for our bathroom and for our back door. Works well to still let light in but gives you privacy without the blinds.

I was looking for a privacy for our bathroom window with plenty of light going through. I was struggling to find one that would meet my expectations 100%. Then I found this product and it is absolutely what I wanted. The roll is much bigger than its competitors, thus you can cover quite a few windows. It lets a lot of daylight through, with 100% privacy. I like the sparkling effect when a morning sun hits my bathroom window. Don't look anywhere else, you will be 100% satisfied.

I am shocked by any review that says this is not glimmery! See my photos...taken with an 8 year old Galaxy phone and no doctoring. I think anyone who can't see the shim is using it on a north-facing window where the sun doesn't shine.My photos are evening and the sun is setting in this west-facing window. This bathroom window is directly outside our backdoor and facing our patio so we wanted something that would make our guests feel comfortable that no-one could see them on the throne. If it were up to me, I would not put a blind up over it but feel it's warranted for their sense of security.Installation was easy although this is probably my 6th-ish time putting window film up so I'm getting pretty good :)I would have given 5 stars but for my husband who insists that it smells like burnt plastic. If I could have given 4.75 stars...that would have been my rating!

Excellent quality!I cut 1/8" smaller than exact size, applied lots of window cleaner to ensure I could move the window film around for placement and once it was where I wished it, gently and slowly pressed from middle outwards to remove air bubbles and secure film to window.A week later it's still perfect!This is a 50+ home with a single pane garage window that simply needed to be coated for privacy. This window film let's all the light in and no eyes ever!

Easy to install, so beautiful in the sunlight!!We used in our floor to ceiling windows that face a street. Our dogs use to bark all day at people and now it is a peaceful atmosphere 👌🏼
