If rock solid control & video at extended ranges is an imperative for your Solo then this "Ultimate Range Booster Kit" is exactly what you've been looking for. I'm getting +30 to 40db gain using this amp kit (as reported through the 3dr app on my tablet). The kit contains everything, all the interconnect cables, booster amps (two), battery (with amp power ON/OFF switch) & 3D printed 'carrier' that houses everything and the hardware (2 self locking nuts) to mount to your controller. Keep in mind the 'carrier' mounts under your controller and adds both weight & height, but both are easily manageable. The picture on Amazon with the booster mounted looks a bit sloppy to me, but you can definitely do a better, cleaner job with just a little thought on wire routing. Note: I'm currently using my DBS antenna (Itelite ITE-DBS03_VER.2) with this system (less directional) and only turn on the amps when necessary. This is a powerful system. Please fly responsibly.
