Needed tweaking
They needed a bit of smoothing on them. I used a diamond file to take the burr off and followed up with 1000 grit sand paper. Also used needed needle nose pliers to shape it to my fingers. Tweak them to your liking and it will feel quite comfortable. Should you not have them smoothed out or shaped, prepare for pain.

A good starting point
These picks are best for small to medium size fingers. You will need to bend them to fit and will have to smooth and polish the edges to avoid a scratchy sound. The material was very springy and hard to bend, until I heated them red-hot with a torch. Once cooled, I was able to shape them to my fingers. Then I polished them on a buffing wheel. With that done, I like them. They stay on my fingers well, and allow me to feel the string, unlike traditional banjo finger picks. If, you have the ability and time, these are a good value.

VERY small
I chose these because they at least said they had two sizes---small and medium--and looked like maybe I could adjust themSo--I grabbed two pair of pliers to spread the finger rings wider on the mediums--I could get them on---but the "pick" part was still too far away for accurate use--I mange to play a bit-- but very clumsy-- AND they sounded horrible because the steel would zzing on the coils --probably because too much steel was exposed.

A total waste of time and money
I play acoustic guitar was looking for a solution to having to strengthen and maintain fingernails, but this is one of the two worst ideas ever. If you could get them custom made for each finger there is chance that they might work, but as they are useless. They don't fit, nor can they be made to. I had a handyman for several, and so I know a few tricks, but I couldn't get them to fit around the finger and also match the size of my nail at the same time. They were either so loose that they just slid around on my finger, or so tight that I couldn't get them on, or they wouldn't fit the end of my finger under the nail. The Alaska picks are the only thing that even come close to working, and then I only use them in an emergency, i.e., break a nail right before I want to play. These don't even deserve one star but I couldn't submit this review without selecting something.

Love em
I didn't think I would like these but I had to give them a try and I'm so glad I did....These are beauty's. Like them over all other finger picks so far. They feel much more natural and my speed is quicker with them than others. Very glad I gave these a try.

Rough product
The metal is very stiff. I had to use pliers to bend into shape. Then they are difficult to adjust once on my fingers. Rough scraping tone to the picks. I purchased because they were similar in style to some other picks I've purchased and liked. Although these are useable, I won't be using them.

Too small and not good for acoustic guitar
Spent a lot of time with multiple tools + hot water to try and get these to fit comfortably to no avail. Playability-wise, it feels unnatural, like a nail wanting to lift off your finger. Can sound scratchy, especially on the lower strings. Playing classical acoustic. Might sound/play better for banjo or electric. Maybe given enough time, the right tools, and perseverance, I can get these to fit right so that they’re comfortable and play more natural, but for now, I’ll stick to my nail-less fingers.
