Excellent, responsive support staff available by phone for this unit that is helpful in answering install and pre-sales questions. The product is assembled and tested in California, from parts sourced from around the world, from the best sources LiquaGen was able to find.Installation was probably about as easy as any such system would be. If you're a DIY type with some plumbing experience, it's not that big of a deal to do yourself, but otherwise you may want to hire a plumber or equivalent to do the installation. I had a few issues with leaks at some of the hose connections (John Guest-style push fittings), but unscrewing the fittings, re-teflon taping and re-installing them solved that. I'd recommend gently tightening up all of the fittings before pressurizing with water, as they may've shifted during shipping. LiquaGen told me that the leak test they perform on the unit before shipping is with done with compressed air.Also highly recommend the mineral cartridge on this unit -- I definitely prefer some mineral flavor (and the other likely health benefits there) vs plain RO water.

You can only order filters from LiquaGen and their phone number does not work and won't return emails.I ordered directly from LiquaGen and they sent me the wrong filters, and my water smells like fish now. I have to throw the entire system away and start over.

Unit was relatively easy to install, the instructions need a better translation to English. However, the factory installed quick connect fittings were not screwed in all the way and the unit leaked like a sieve. Since the 1/4" lines were already hooked up I couldn't tighten the fittings to where the o rings were seated without cutting the lines. This resulted in my having to purchase $17 worth of quick connect couplings to reattach the 1/4" tubing. Plus the inconvenience of having to clean up all the water. I am a builder and industrial electrician and can fix anything but I shouldn't have to fix a pre-assembled product.

I took many weeks deciding my water system because I’m extremely cautious of the water I drink and don’t want to waste money on bottled water. I’m super happy with this purchase.I had an Apec System before this and decided to test this one because of the mineral filter. I was a bit skeptical before because of the lower price compared to other companies and no customer reviews.To be honest, this is far better than my old system. My pH level is higher, the system is very very well built, and the faucet looks awesome! It comes pre-assembled. All I did was put the housing cartridges on and connect the connection tubings.As far as reliability goes, I have not had any problems or leaks with any component of the system, and we are using it rather heavily.

I bought this system back in 2016 and we use it every day. I replaced the RO membrane after 2 years of use. The product is well made, if installed right you will not have any problems with leaks. Changing filters is pretty straight forward. My incoming water is 55-65 TDS and it outputs 3-5 TDS. So it works well. I can tell you the original filters were better than the ones i replaced them with, as those are getting me around 10TDS. I have been very happy with this system.

The filters work as intended. The counter faucet is cheap and the adapter for the cold water line in is garbage. Not really deal breakers as the product itself is good quality. I did run into 2 problems the first was that all the connections that came pre installed were loose and leaked. So check all your fittings that are threaded before installing. The other problem was that even after 5 days of daily use I still had air in the system when I used the counter faucet. It stopped farting as I called it after a while.
