These are great. Really high quality and we like how you can make the skewer area shorter if you want. Also, the double prongs are great for kebabs especially with shrimp and vegetables. Keeps them from spinning. Ordering more.

We purchased this product to skewer shrimp on a B-B-Q. It works fine for that purpose, but see my prior remark about the lack of instructions other than for the seller to warn about sharp edges. Not sure what the sharp edge was for at the top of the product. The sharp points at its other end were clearly to puncture the shrimp so they could be slid up along the prongs but that doesn't indicate why the top part is sharp.

This is a very good quality skewer. Perfect for what it is supposed to do. The only issue is that it is short in length. I wish they had 17 inches version also. And for that reason, I may have to return it.BBQ-AID team, Do you think you will sell 17 inches version in the future?

I searched and searched for the perfect skewers. My requirements: No wooden handles, no plastic handles, had to hold a lot of food and yet be small enough so that the cover of my gas grill would completely close, AND had to be a breeze to clean. These are THE SKEWERS! The double prong holds food securely and the food doesn't spin when trying to turn the skews. Cooked food slid off cleanly. And they clean up like champs in the dishwasher! Got these in and the next day filled up all 12 of the skews I bought: 5 skewers of marinated sirloin steak and portobello mushrooms, 3 skews of marinated peppers and onions, and 4 skewers of marinated jumbo shrimp. Dinner party was a HUGE success and these skewers had a big part in that. I have since used at least one skewer daily for a quick BBQ lunch or, last night, garam masala coated cut up chicken breasts. BUY THESE SKEWERS! They are wonderful and extremely affordable.

Easy to turn over skewers. Skewers should be oiled first for easier release. Skewers should be sharper. One needs to develop a technique to load skewers while retaining the distance between the two branches.
