I love these gel replacement pads. They are from 3M, and should be equal quality and durability as the originals. They were easy to swap from the original pads, and these after much more comfortable. The OEM pads caused my ears to sweat after a short while on the range. The gel pads remain cool and comfortable. They are the exact same size and appear to provide equal or better n noise cancelation protection. I am ordering another pair for my backup headset.

Perfect fit on my 3m muffs. Soft gel is such an upgrade from the normal foam ear cups.

Have my Profit electronic ear muffs for 25 years now. Foam ear cushions went bad. Contacted 3M, they promptly and effortlessly directed me to Amazon with correct part number to order. New cushions showed up WITH perfect installation instructions had new cushions installed in 2 minutes. New ones are gel filled, what a huge difference, way more comfortable, seals better, and fits my big ears better. Overall I am totally impressed with new gel pads and 3M.

If you have 3m hearing protection and you notice they hurt your ears after an hour or so...buy these! Easy to install and works better

These are legit 3M gel cups from China, way cheaper yet way more durable than older Swedish or US made OEM HY80! I noticed all the other Chinese made gel cups I've ordered for multiple headsets are made of the same stiffer materials that won't flatten over time like OEM, yet still provide that amazing pillow like comfort. I can store my ear pro with the cups pressed together without worrying about them eventually losing their shape and effectiveness. Also, I haven't had any of them rip exposing the inner gel like I had OEM and Noisefighters before (see pics) so there is no doubt these are more durable. I've already had these particular 3Ms on my Peltor 500s for a few months, used in 115 F heat to now 50 F cool and they still look the same as day one! I am giving 4 out of 5 stars though because these won't fit my Peltor Tactical Sports (won't snap in). Fortunately I have multiple 3M Peltor headsets to try them on. They will fit in my Comtac III Hearing Defender, Single Comm, Dual Comm (wont sit flush on one side but still secure), Tactical 300 and 500s though on all of them they won't snap in as tight as the other gel cups I have. They are still secure when snapped in and will do the job. I may have gotten a pair with out of spec plastic backings but still for under $20, totally worth it! (EDIT 11/30 - Actually that particular set of Comtac III Dual comms does the same thing to every other gel cup set I've tried, so it is that particular headset that is out of spec. This particular set may just be slightly undersized which may explain why it doesn't snap in as tight) There is no reason for the other gel cups to cost $50+, especially when they don't last as long!

More comfortable than the stiffer and leathery feeling pads that come with the 3M work mates. PLUS, they are about 1/8th inch taller and wider internally which provides a much much much better fit and seal for encasing the entire ear. Will check on sound reduction tomorrow. The OEM pads did not do a good job keeping mowing sounds out. Hopefully these will do better, much like my previous pair on an older set of 3M workmate muffs I replaced years ago. Getting the OEM pads out requires a sharp screwdriver or a wood chisel to get under yellow lip to pry out.

I have a pair of 3M Pro-grades, and a worktunes AM/FM/Connect, though I don't know if it's anything like the current model. I got the worktunes used, broken, without earpads, and fixed them up, found that my pro-grade pads worked on them, but I've had so much use out of those pads at this point they've dry rotted and split in several spots. These pads are more comfortable than those stock pads ever were, and they actually improved both the seal and the isolation of my muffs, while also reducing the seal pressure I felt in my ear drums every time I put one or the other on. I'd have to guess the improvements are somewhere between the double flute(?) design adding an air gap (isolation improvement), use of a stiffer foam (reduced pressure), and the smooth instead of textured surface, but that's just my speculation for why they did so much. For context, the original pads that I'm comparing them to are what came with my pro-grades, what looks more like a typical headphone pad, but instead of pleather or fabric it's silicone rubber with a fake leather-ish texture on the flat of it. The compatibility chart does say it shouldn't work with any of the WorkTunes AM/FM models, but while I can't verify that mine are exactly the same model mentioned on the chart, they do have AM/FM and Bluetooth, and these pads do fit those. Maybe a bit expensive, twenty bucks is on the high end for any headphone pad period in my experience, but for hearing safety it's worth paying a bit of money now to not end up with hearing loss issues later.
