My wife was having terrible hot flashes starting about 11:30 evert evening. She would toss and turn all night alternating between being too hot or too cold. This led to my discomfort with all the tossing and turning as well as being frozen with the thermastat being set so low. I bought this product as the cost was low and it had great review in general. I was amazed that within 4 days my wife's symptoms abated and we are both enjoying a peaceful sleep. This has lasted one month so far and am hopeful that this will last.

This product claims to be "...clinically proven to relieve hot flashes." They go on to say "100% of women in a clinical test group received hot flash relief with the Cool Flash for the Hot Flash(tm)" Bull. I had NO cool feel from it at all. I should have looked for the results of the study for it before buying it. But, based on this idea, I think I'll try something like icy hot to see how that works. For those of you that still want to order it and try, note that it is a VERY small little tube as well. Kind of the size of a tube of lip stuff.

i have used everything my doctor and i could think of except horemone therapy for my flashes. i saw this promoted by THE DOCTOR'S SHOW" and thought i would try it. IT WORKS. it may seem pricey but you used such a small amount that it lasts a long time. i have had mine over a month. at night when i feel a hot flash coming on i rub a small amount on the spots it says and they instantly go away and i can get a good noghts sleep. wonderful stuff

Mom says sometimes it works sometimes not, so 4 stars. I would say the question regarding whether or not this works has an inconclusive answer.

I keep it on my nightstand as it IS helpful for my occasionally overwhelming FL Hot Flashes...B U T...be very aware that it contains 2 PARABEN's as preservatives --sooo NOT safe to use!!! :-( Hopefully they update their formula soon!!

my wife was not sure this would help her but when she uses it at night she says it does help her sleep and control the hot flashes much more than before. Just wish the tube was larger.

This was recommended by my OB/GYN NP and it doesn't work very well. I had no significant decrease in the symptoms or decrease in quantity. She said she has had mixed results so maybe it will work for you. It is definitely worth a try rather than estrogen. Much healthier alternative. My body chemistry was just not right.
