This was a gift for my 6 year old granddaughter who has had no real instruction. Several of the songs are 3 pages in length and require page turning which is challenging for an early beginner.

I’m having a ball with this book! There is a great variety of songs mixing traditional with new. Some are very easy to play and some harder so I think it’s a book you could use happily for years. If you have an EZ play organ this book will make your Christmas brighter!

This is another one of those great books to learn from or even serve as a fake book for the pro. Why? Because you are not required to know how to play music knowing what key its in. All you have to know is where the notes on your instrument is and that just makes it so much more fun and easy to learn. And your ear also begins to hear the tones a little faster I think. My nine year old son and I have both begun taking piano lessons, he's been going for almost a year and I have had three lessons - we are both enjoying this book. Slow songs for me and fast-paced for him make us sound like we know what we are doing and who doesn't love Christmas songs?

As described and arrived quickly! Great arrangements, fairly easy to play, big notes and chords so easy to see too! Only possible niggle is that 'White Christmas' and 'The Christmas Song' aka 'Chestnuts roasting on an open fire' were not in the collection, though old favourites like 'Silver Bells' and 'Sleigh Ride' (not so easy to play that last one) are, so very pleased!
