iBaby Wi-Fi Wireless Digital Baby Video Camera with Night Vision and Music Player

Here are the five things I absolutely love about our new monitor M6: 1. I love love love that the monitor is able to turn and I can basically see the whole room easily. I just need to swipe my finger on my phone screen. I don’t need to adjust the monitor angle manually and then check where the viewfinder is, I can do it from anywhere in one second. 2. I still can’t get over the fact that the audio in this device is two way! Not only I can hear my baby laugh and cry but I can also respond back and know that she can hear it well. Sometimes I can see her kind of starting to wake up and I talk to her softly and she goes back to sleep – without me needing to go to her room. 3. My husband does a lot of business travel and unfortunately misses a lot on the baby’s milestones. With this monitor he can easily check on our babygirl when he is away. He says the quality of video is great even when he is so far. 4. The voice recording is just great! I can see a lot of potential for it when the baby gets older – I can record some bedtime stories and leave her listening to them and fall asleep by herself. Right now we use it to play lullabies of my husband singing. I play them for our daughter when he travels for work. 5. Very easy to get it running. No need to even read the manual. The set up took us less than 2 minutes.

We love this monitor so much!!! We originally had the iBaby M2 for our now 2 year old which we loved but when baby number 2 was on her way we saw the new iBaby M6 and decided to get this one for the new baby. This monitor is so great, we love that is connects easily to,our iPhones and allows us access anywhere. We also love the video feature to record what is going on, take pictures, play music and the ability to talk to your little one through the camera is the best! This camera is so great and has so many features that we decided to buy a second one for our toddlers room. It's so nice to be able to keep an eye on him a once he's in bed and to be able to tell him to get back in bed without going in his room and getting him all excited. It easily connects to you phone and I like that in order to set up your account to connect you have to plug your phone into the camera. No worries about people hacking in to your camera. It's super easy to set up and well worth the price.

This camera is really cute, has great rotation ability, and is rather easy to set up. However, it locks you into using an Android app (I can't say if the iOS app is better) that was designed to produce a terrible user experience. As an Android developer I know how hard it is to build a large-scale app with lots of features, but this app is just a circus. The Major issues: - There seems to be no way to export photos and videos from the app. It has a built in library, but I manage my own files, thank you. I plan to keep baby pictures long after I stop using a babycam. - The app can work on local WiFi, or mobile data. It can't, however work on WiFi that's not on the same network as the camera. Do these developers not realize how common it is to have WiFi when you're not at home? This is a primary use case. - The app continues to use mobile data when you're not using it. I looked at it for a few seconds and then closed the app. The next day I find it used 3.5GB of background data from WiFi (not really a problem) and 1.5GB of mobile data (which is a HUGE problem. In ONE DAY. It had nothing that it needed to do! I got charged $15 for data overages on day 3 of my monthly cycle. WTF iBaby? Are you going to reimburse me for my losses caused by your inexcusably poor app? The minor issues I could probably get over: - Video quality is not very good for the price range this is in. I've had better results with $80 IP cameras. This one offers convenience and a service, but I'd still like the video to be somewhat on par. Maybe it's just the poor app, but I know it's not my phone. - Video takes too long to load, even when at home and on WiFi. A 7-13 second delay isn't what I want out of a baby monitor - Motion/sound alerts don't combine, they just produce dozens of separate alerts on your phone that drown out any other notifications (because they happened every few seconds when I was testing it). Only a minor issue because I can turn off motion/sound notifications. The good: - It's cute - my wife was going to paint it like BB8. - Setup was pretty simple, and I didn't have to poke a hole in my firewall to use it out of the house

I was about to return this video camera because I had initially lot of problems. I was able to view the camera locally but I cannot see the camera from work or by using a 3G/4G connection in my Iphone / Android Phone. The tech support in the website is not good, I get no response so far and I hear a clicking noise in the past few days, but because my wife love the camera and our baby is about to born, I add some effort to the setup and now: 1-) I'm able to see the camera and control it over my corporate network. 2-) I'm able to see the camera even when I'm in my car as a co-pilot using our 4G mobile network. Great!! 3-) I can now see the camera from my work computer! I'm using an Android free emulator!! I was about to return the camera to Amazon and even printed all the paperwork to send it back, but I investigated in amazon and other sites and don't find a camera for baby monitoring with this features!!!!: Pros: really easy to install. very unique! (read below) great video quality (720p) superb audio quality (real voice quality. is better than high end panasonic cameras. This is designed in such way your new baby boy will recognize your voice trough the camera without any doubt) night vision (a very good night vision) bidirectional audio cool look! this thing looks like a future is today! unique shape and great design apps very simple to use 360 degrees rotation (this thing rotates in full!) fast boot (just few seconds, you hear a great sound when reboot ends.) fast wifi registration (5 seconds) great packaging (great white box) magnetic base Cons: No wall mount (I believe there is an optional kit, but is not included) no battery so you always need a power supply. no pc viewer (but you can use an emulator!!!) - read below not compatible with 802.11AC / 5GHZ wifi digital zoom, non optical bad tech support (I get no response in days!) still waiting! audio delays (out of sync with video?) need to test more. Note: Internet issue: I initially was unable to see the camera from outside internet. try with 3 different wifi connections. at the end, I solved the issue by disabling the firewall and configuring the dmz in my router. pum! now works 100% of the time. I will continue testing in the future if the issue is the firewall or the dmz, but for now, I'm happy. PC app: there is no pc app for this camera. you are stuck with the app in android and iphone. the app is free. you cannot view the camera from your computer but I downloaded several Ipad and Android emulators. Some of them are buggy but I finally found one who is amazing and light! Now the camera is just one click away!! I got this on a good sale and ended up returning it. It's a really neat camera, but just didn't work for us. It has an app you can download on your phone to use as the receiver. The picture quality is great, but it takes a while to move the camera using your phone. You have to swipe your finger and it's slow. I didn't like using my phone as the monitor receiver b/c it would run the battery down, and I felt like I couldn't multi-task while it was being used. Maybe it'd work better if you had an old iTouch or iPad to use instead of the phone. I was nervous that I'd hit the button to talk to her or something while trying to make a call, etc. Also, I didn't like that it was only wi-fi enabled. Yes, I read that when purchasing, but didn't really think about it until I got it. It's a great camera, just wasn't the right one for me. I like having the separate monitor receiver and not using wi-fi. The only other thing I wasn't crazy about was it let off a strange red looking light at nighttime, and it really looked like there was a small space ship with an eye sitting on top of my daughter's bookshelf staring at her. My current monitor doesn't have a light in the camera, just an optional nightlight if needed, which I prefer over this red light on the iBaby.

So far it has been fantastic. My wife loves that she can check to see if the baby's eyes are open without entering the room. She was also able to check in on her while she was out running errands. Allowed her to decide if there time to run one more. I love that I can open it on my phone and turn on the listen function. Then if I'm outside working in the yard I can hear her if she makes any noise. I love being able to pan the camera from my phone. The only problem I had was the initial setup. It worked fine when I initially set it up but when I took it to the nursery I suddenly couldn't connect any more. I realized after a little trial and error that it was because I was that much further away from my router. It was trying to send me live video feed over a barely there connection. I fixed the problem with a cheap range extender that I put in the room next to the nursery. Now it works flawlessly and I even get better internet speeds on my other devices. Overall I highly recommend this to any parents. It provides a lot of comfort for those who have quiet babies that might not register much on a sound only baby monitor. I have the ability to check in on her when I am at work and I've also now learned that my dog starts to get excited about us coming home about 30 minutes before we actually get home. So I think it's worth it.

This monitor is great! It literally look about 15 seconds to fully setup. I downloaded the app on my iphone, plugged in the power, then attached my phones USB cord and done. Now all i have to do is enter my created account information on the app on my Ipad and my husbands Iphone and its 100% ready to view without having to plug cables into each individual device. Our baby is due in September so we havent gotten to use it with him yet, but in just the testing phase (we tested with the dogs in the nursery), it has a great image, good sounds and options. Yes, there is a slight delay but that is expected and it is only about 2 seconds delay. I am SO happy with this monitor. It wasnt even my first choice (I was going to get the $300 Motorola one). I chose this one because of the deal i got on Amazon Prime Day and could NOT be happier with my decision.

This is a great product with two major flaws. Pros - -very easy setup (make sure you are using the 2.4GHz band and not the 5GHz if your router has dual bands -very reliable - we had no issues that were due to the iBaby... any issues were from the router and were easily fixed -app works great - this is the best part... the iphone app is excellent (I assume android as well) - it is easy to use, quick to show the video, easy to set alerts, and requires a reasonably small amount of bandwidth (ie, don't use it all day on cellular, but it won't eat your data for the month if you check it from time to time) Cons - minor - no OSX or desktop app that I can find. I think people can run emulators for android to get it to work but on OSX I haven't had any luck albeit with very little effort. major - it can't look down - of course it can't turn 360 in all directions, but you'll never have your baby monitor under the bed, so why did they allow it to look directly up and not down. This makes it very difficult to use on a shelf above the crib. Ours is above the door on a shelf of it's own and we had to prop it up with paint stir sticks to get it to see the entire bed on the other side of the room. This wouldn't be a problem if they had wall mounting hardware but they do not and with the way it connects I do not believe it will be able to be mounted sideways so that it would ever be able to look down. major - it has a bright blue light that flashes rapidly at random intervals - blue light is the worst wavelength of light for sleep, as I assume everyone knows. Parents are supposed to limit exposure to blue light wavelengths for at least 30 minutes (some studies say longer) before the child is supposed to be going to bed. Now, we have a wifi indicator which irregularly flashes a bright blue LED all night in our daughter's room. In a dark room it's a pretty significant light. I have spoken with iBaby about it and they were willing to RMA my unit and give me one without the new light for a 20% restocking fee. So they apparently make units without the blue light but decided to put it in for some units. Note, there is already a wifi indicator light next to the plug in the back. It is read and flashing when it is connecting or not connected to a network and glows green when it's connected. This is fine, it's not distractingly bright, and green light is fine for sleep. I cannot get them to explain to me why they put in a redundant wifi indicator in a horrible color for sleep. Their remedy was to tape over the entire bottom of the unit (the area responsible for heat dissipation and where the speakers are located. I would return the unit if I could but we got it 3 months before our daughter was born and we are past the point of return. This may seem minor, but if you have a white shelf that it sits on, white walls or a white ceiling, then the the unit will light up the entire corner. This is such as easy fix for them. If they fix this and the wall mount issue then it would be a 5 star item. I gave it two stars instead of one because it has a lot of good qualities if you use it during the day. Black, non-reflective tape on the surface it sits on will help reduce the blue, flashing light.

Summary: Great product. Picture quality is great. Speaker on this is great, for what it is. The android application is easy to use as well. Picture quality: I've set the resolution to 'high', but it doesn't feel like 720p. Maybe I've a setting wrong somewhere. Despite this, the picture quality is still superb. Sound output quality: The speaker is decent for it's purpose. Don't expect good bass or anything. Installation process: It really is as simple as describe. On initial setup, have the iBaby monitor right beside the router, makes it quicker. Android app: Simple and easy to use. The only downside is that if your phone has more than 54 music miles, it won't see 55 and beyond. I have research out to their support team and awaiting their response. I'll update this when they get back to me. Changing the camera via the app has a slight lag, but acceptable; between 1 to 1.5 seconds. Bandwidth consumption: Does iBaby consume internet bandwidth if both the camera & mobile phone are connected to the same network? 1) Phone and camera on the same wifi network - consumes no internet bandwidth (wan resources) 2) Phone on cellular network to camera - consume internet bandwidth on both devices (obviously) 2a) The camera feed is currently on the cellular and we connect the phone to the wifi. iBaby will continue to consume internet bandwidth until you restart your connect. How is the alert system? Have not tested this yet. Will update this later.

La cámara está bastante bien; respecto al software solo le falta un detalle; que no toca las canciones de tu biblioteca, solo las que vienen con el software; y de la entrega ni se diga... rápida... muy bien por amazon.

So far, no issues whatsoever. Love the fact that I can view from anywhere. Especially great for me when I am back at work and my wife is home with baby. I would recommend this to everyone.

Compre el Baby monitor M6 con base en algunos comentarios que revise en el site. Para cuando llego, me deslumbro la parte estetica de la camara pero no pude instalarla en 3 dispositivos con sistema Android. Desortunadamente no tengo ningun device apple y mejor decidi devolverlo.
