Cigarette Usage is Almost as Good as a Lighter
This is awesome! I love the fact I do not have to purchase another lighter ever again! I have never been to a "save the whales/dolphins/(insert your animal here)" meeting yet this is great for the environment. There is a high-pitched whine (similar the your ears ringing) and a "fizz" type sound (similar to the burning of a cigarette when pulling a drag yet louder) yet I expected something since I'm saving the environment AND I'M USING ELECTRICITY. I don't like the small opening. It does not allow the width of a cigarette to slide through the opening (unless you smoke Virginia Slims). Also the electricity part is just not quite large enough to fully light the end of a cigarette forcing you to light the top then replacing the end to light the bottom part of your cig to get a proper light. This will light anything on fire just like a lighter and is resistant to wind. I've inserted paper and it catches fire almost immediately. It works every time and does not need charged much. It only takes about an hour or two to completely charge this device and it seems to only need a charge about twice a week using it about 20 times a day for the full 6 seconds. I've held this out my window while going 80mph and it stays lit! I haven't been able to get it to go out yet!The design seems solid. I've dropped it on concrete and tile and still turns on without a hitch. There are nicks from the drops on the case yet not noticeable. The metal is not extremely shiny and does show surface scratches yet that is to be expected as Zipp lighters do the same. I've had expensive lighters throughout the years that have a particular and/or adjustable "ding" when the top is kicked open. This lighter does have a noise yet it's more of a metallic "click" which doesn't sound cheap; instead I'd describe it as a solid metallic click/thunk-type sound that presents itself upon opening and closing the lid.Another aspect of the build quality is a sound made if the lighter is shook. I believe it is the lid that moves slightly while shaking the device. This almost makes the device seem cheap yet the sound is still metal against metal so it's a less-solid clank sound (just don't shake it if you're trying to impress others of your high sense of quality).OverallI wish the contacts were wider so you could light a cigarette properly without having to use the full 6 seconds to lift and replace the end of your cigarette. The build quality is tight and string minus the lid being loose. The metal seems more-thick than a Zippo yet same quality as fine scratches appear from being in contact with God know what else in your pockets. The outer design is bearable as long as you get the "swirls" and not the "flowers" (for men). This is designed for cigarettes (almost fully in one shot) and pieces of paper, not for lighting bowls.

I tried my friend's electronic single arc lighter and I thought his was cool. He had the single arc which was nice
When did I buy it? May 2016Price: $ 26.99Why I bought it?I tried my friend's electronic single arc lighter and I thought his was cool. He had the single arc which was nice. I wanted a cool electric lighter too. What I like about it?I've never heard of the "TOMOLO" brand of lighters before. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this lighter. It's taller and thinner than a Zippo. The size and shape of it make it easy to handle. I also like watching the purple electronic arcs in action. VERY COOL![watch the video]. I also like that it charges using via a Micro USB port which is fairly common. The outside is has a classy silver swirly design. And the TOMOLO logo size and placement doesn't take away from its beauty.Performance:I would say you get a good 50+ uses out of it per charge, enough to last a pack of cigs. It definitely withstands the wind. All of my friends thought it was cool. We enjoyed using it the whole weekend in Las Vegas. What I don't like about it?It has a USB port on the outside for charging, and a the fact that its electrical--I doubt its very weather resistant. So I will be careful not to get it wet or use it with wet hands, or in the rain. I would just treat it like a cellphone basically. Ive never dropped it, I hope if I ever did drop it, then it could withstand the impact. [Cross my fingers] If I ever lost or broke it.... there's a good chance I would buy it again.

Worth your money and then some!
Bought this as a xmas gift for my friend. And I gotta say I'm impressed, the price point for what you get is amazing. I can do a lot with 20$ I can buy myself lunch, get myself a dozen pairs of socks, and a pair of underwear, or buy myself a cheap sweater. But this is even more worth it if your a smoker or simply a person that likes to collect flip lighters. On a single charge it can light well over 3 packs which is good but realistically it won't survive that long because as all rechargeable things go it dies very very very slowly when it in use. Just like a cell phone or a battery pack, which is totally not an issue. The box comes very neatly packaged and it looks like an actual well designed box, perfect for gifting right away and the design on the front and back looks sick, it makes this electricity sound when turned on so loud it's satisfying to hear it every time. Would highly recommend it as a gift for any smoker.

Lighter of the future, lighter of tomolo!
Everyone I showed this to said WHOOOAAAAAAA COOOL!!I had no problems bringing this in my checked in luggage on a trip to New Zealand. Other butane lighters are likely to get seized by customs. And yes it's totally wind-proof. I even instinctively tried to blow out the flame after lighting candles and felt like an idiot afterwards. It automatically shuts off after 8 seconds or when you close the lid.Only issue is that it emits a very high-pitched sound audible to pets and younger people. I wouldn't say it's eardrum-piercing loud, it's more like the subtle high pitch noise which comes out of an old CRT TV or monitor.
