Recently purchased this smart lock, and I am incredibly impressed with its performance. It has truly transformed my home security experience. I was able to install this lock with no issues, by myself and quickly. (It even comes with a drill bit and screw driver) The hardware is very attractive. The Lock uses a gateway (included in the set I bought) to connect to Wi-Fi. The Bluetooth option is built in to the lock hardware. The app (T LOCK) works well and has lots of useful features. It syncs perfectly to my Alexa as well.After a little time, I noticed the deadbolt wasn't retracting completely into the door. I contacted the customer support folks through email. I was contacted by Jackson with Smonet. He asked me to send him a couple videos demonstrating how the lock was acting. After he received the videos, he determined that my lock was defective and sent me a new lock under warranty. It arrived in 2 days. I am very impressed with Smonet and the customer service they offer. Jackson made it right. I recommend this lock.

I spent 3 hours trying to get the lock to work. turns out it was a bad lock.so I sent it back a reordered the same one just in a different color. it was just what the lock should have been the very first time, but 2nd lock works great. Only took me 15 minutes to install. I have ordered a total of 7 Smonet locks and haven't had any issues with any of them. Just the first one, I let them know about my issue with the lock and after some time pass, they reached out. So, the customer service department was great on working with me to resolve the issue. I'm a fan of the brand since I'm the owner of 7 and I have 3 different styles of locks. Don't pick another brand of smart lock when you can order this brand. If something was to happen in transit or just slipped out of the quality control, then know worries it's easy to have replaced with working one or refund whichever you prefer...I'd just wait for new lock to be mailed out as a replacement if I was you.

We have had this lock for over 2 years and it has been flawless despite being located in a relatively exposed location, especially direct sun during summer months.We use the lock primarily for guests so fingerprint touch wasn’t necessary. Paired with SMONET’s Wi-Fi hub remote access & programming is a snap.We have utilized SMONET’s customer service a couple of times. Absolute A+ response, communication and resolution! Highly recommended brand.

Buyer beware - they recently updated the app so that you now have to see an ad before you can unlock your door. How did they ever think this was a good idea? I’ll be sure to never buy any lock that uses the TTLock phone app again.

I was pretty excited to add this lock to my smart home system. For the most part it works great. The TTLock app is easy to use and it integrated with Alexa with no problem. The mechanism is quiet and the lock/unlock functions work pretty well (once I had to tell it to unlock twice because the deadbolt did not completely disengage the first time).But there is a HUGE flaw with this system. Neither the TTLock app or Alexa are able to tell the real status of the lock. What I mean is that if you use either app to lock/unlock the unit, everything is in sync. But if you physically turn the deadbolt to lock or unlock, the apps don't know that the lock changed state.I've gotten used to asking Alexa if the door is locked right before bed. But if someone manually unlocked the door sometime during the day, I get the wrong answer. Last night I went to bed thinking everything was fine. This morning I wake up to find that the front door was unlocked all night!I tried every combination of locking/unlocking the door with both apps and manually. It is very clear that turning the lock physically is completely ignored.So from now on, instead of asking if the door is locked, I will have to tell the app to lock the door explicitly. The problem with this is that it will burn through the batteries faster than just checking the status. Plus why have a function that just doesn't work? I can never trust that the apps know whether it is locked or not.
