Holds and covers hair well, especially large braids. It is sturdy and contains velcro to help keep in lace, but if not careful or too rough, will tear.

I like that the shower cap is adjustable and will contain my hair as it continues to grow longer. Right now, I have it folded in half for my bra-length hair. It has a drawstring to make it like a bonnet and velcro to secure the cap for a shorter length so it doesn't block your neck from washing and rinsing. The cap has sturdy plastic/vinyl and seems like it would hold up well.

It kept my hair dry and my braids fit easily in the cap, but it started tearing around the Velcro tab in the front after less than a month of use.

To my delightful surprise, this shower cap was more than what I was looking for!!! I had been trying to imagine in my mind exactly what I wanted in a long braid shower cap. The cheap clear plastic ones kept falling back on me head and getting my hair wet. the wight of my braids were contributing to this as well. also everytime I had lift up my hairwith one hand to wash my neck with the other. This caused the cheap one to fall more off my head. With this new Ms. Remi Max Jumbo Braid Shower Cap I no longer have to do that and I never have wet hair anymore!!! I LOVE IT!!!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!

This has worked well for me. I've had no issues with it tearing or becoming loose, letting in water or anything like that. Great for when I have long braids.
