Love these bowls have bought them several times. They are sturdy a good size

Ordered this for the Chinet quality, but am surprised by with the small size . The bowl rim measures 6 inches across, but the depression in the bowl is 5" across. Holds less than expected.

Just right for a special Mother's Day project with First Grade--has to be Chinet; others do not take the paint. We make a "hat" to hang as a decoration by hot-glueing the bowl upside down onto a Chinet dinner plate, then the children paint with pastel-mixed tempera paint. I then hot-glue various flowers and a bow onto each hat, add a soda can tab to the back to hang.

We used the plates at an eighty birthday party and they had to hold up. They were strong and made serving of the food easy.

Very much modeled after Chinet, although not the trademarked and embossed product, so the advertising on this item is very disappointing, although the product itself does a fine job. The value per piece is relatively pretty good.

The size was great with Brunswick stew for an outside baby shower. Not to big or small. It held up great.
