Very good book.

I very much like the design and content of the New Headway books. They are understandably Eurocentric, but remain a very useful tool in ESL classrooms, regardless of where you might be teaching. However, a word to the wise - check the materials for errors, especially in punctuation. There is a passage on J.K. Rowling that is absolutely atrocious. Aside from this, the book is well organized and provides a good foundation from which to plan engaging, informative lessons.

This book introduces English usage in a useful way. It does inevitably focus on Euro-centric situations and may not always be appropriate in other cultures. Nevertheless it is a good basis for language learning.
