Yes, there are many far more expensive fountain pens out there, but this one is hands down my favorite. It writes fast, is easy to clean, and handles well. Also, the Kaweco ink cartridges provide brilliant colors. I use this more than my Lamy 2000. Get it. You won't regret it.

Works great. Doesn't come with a clip!! Make sure you order one. Is it worth the money? Not sure. Probably not. I love using it though, it feels great, and it's tough, so hey 5 stars.If you don't want a cheesy plastic mechanical pencil because you like to write, this is a good choice.

I own many fountain pens and this one is a gem. The aluminum body is a nice change from the resin (we all know it's plastic) body on most fountain pens and I actually like eight sided barrel. when in use, the top half stays on the body well and makes a rather short pen comfortable to write with. I wish it came with a converter, but they are probably available, just haven't found it yet.The nib (and only real reason to consider any fountain pen) is delightful. As a lefty, not all pens agree with my style of writing, but this one is smooth and soft at the same time. There is no scratchy feel and no skipping. The medium nib is a big medium, so don't expect to write in a fine hand.Downside- the aluminum scratches easily but that should be viewed as part of it's charm.I kept the little tin case the pen came in, not sure what I'll do with it. For the price, this is a really nice day-to-day use pen.

It's just what I need for an edc. I have a gold clip on it when I need to put it in my shirt pocket. It has a medium nib and is perfect for my on the go writing. It's a very nice pen and a lot of bang for the buck.

Who uses blue ink in nice pens?Plan to buy black ink cartridges with this pen.This wasn't stated anywhere in the description so thought it was important to share.

My second time purchasing Kaweco al sport. A smooth writing experience gave me a pleasant time every time I wrote something.

For starters, the pen I received was not new. More importantly, I expected something more substantial. This pen is made with very thin aluminum and is very light. I don't feel it would hold up very well in the EDC role it is marked for as it scratches very easily. There was also no converter include, an extra $10 if you want one, only a single ink cartridge bouncing loose inside the box.

I'm a fan of the Kaweco Sport line of pens. I already have the Brass and acrylic. I saw the reviews for this pen and decided to pull the trigger.Nice lightweight pen. The included fine nib works right out of the box. Smooth glide on paper, excellent ink delivery.

I'm so happy to find this pen on amazon, it's very beautiful light blue. The writing experience is also amazing, very smooth. The seller mueggelig/de are super helpful.Not only did they changee the nib size for me,they also packed the pen so nicely. I only wish the delivery fee to NL could be lower but this won't be an issue for the local buyers. Really hope i can come back to buy more kaweco special colors from them one day!
